Good for you Fire art - I've been at it for a little more than 5 years and I'm pretty pleased with my mediocrectiviness. (yeah, I made that word up). I'm too old to be a rock star, but I've accomplished more than I ever dreamed (like playing in front of people). Whatever your goals are, music sure is fun.

I've found that playing with others is the best way for me to learn at this stage and is an awesome motivator!

Wow - Hard to believe it's been 10 years. "Keep Me In Your Heart" has been in my go-to play list for a while now. What a fantastic artist, RIP Warren

Not sure if it's on where you live, but there is a Tommy Emmanuel concert on PBS in my local market right now - check it out to see one of the best acoustic guitar players that ever lived. Amazing.

I'm in - Saturday or Monday is best as I likely will be out jamming with Toney on Friday and Sunday. Pick a time, I'm happy to host.

Emerald is another manufacturer of carbon Fiber guitars and I believe they sell at a slightly less price point.

And oh yea - my guitar is LOUD - the offset soundhole adds so much bass. It's incredible - and the sustain lasts until tomorrow.

Hi finnlander and welcome to chordie!

I have a Composite Acoustics GXi guitar which I absolutely love. I bought it when I was traveling weekly to a fairly differing climate and was afraid to toss a decent wood guitar into the back of my truck. I would put the sound and playability amongst any guitar I have ever played. Traveled with her to NY a few weeks ago in checked baggage. Took it out of the case and she was perfectly in tune. Several other chordians can attest to the sound and playability of this guitar - I wouldn't trade it for anything.

You know the rules about nkd's - without a pic it didn't happen!

Congrats buddy - that sounds great. I'd love to get a 'yak or a stand-up paddleboard to cruise around with - just got nowhere to keep one!

Don't burn up all your vacation time Norm! Chodiestock 2014 is just around the corner and I hope you can make it back!

WOW - there is some creative beer openers in that vid! I'll just twist the top off my Bud thanks.

He deserves every nickle - I just wish the corrupt SBI agents who withheld the evidence had to pay personally instead of NC taxpayers.

That's only, uh, 100 days of paddling.  I better get more beer.

My apologies for the lengthy delay, but I am pleased to announce the PATW package is once again on the road. Heading to whitewater in Canada via Priority Mail (hope that means it gets there relatively quickly).

I took a Aussie beer hugger from Bushy (you can never have too many beer huggers). Added some more chordie pick cards and a few other odds and ends.

There's some neat stuff in there. I encourage any new members who haven't been a part of this to keep an eye on this thread!

Nice - this is exactly the kind of thing that makes chordie the place that it is. Friendly folks from around the globe lending help and support.
