Don't think I've done any thing with steel drums in the percussion. Though I can see where your coming from with the suggestion.
Thanks for taking the time to listen amd comment.

Hi Astronomikal
This Chord has three names according to a free chord finder found here.
http://theguitarresource.com/guitar-chord-finder/
Chordie's more knowledgable theorists will probably be able to give you a more detailed answer on the chord makeup..
Welcome to Chordie

Hi all
Now Summer is almost memory (well in the UK it is) and Winter is almost upon us once again. Just a little musical taste of languid days spent near the sea with just a hint of edginess thrown in for good measure tongue
Guitar etc all recorded and mixed with Magix software.

Hi szmeretzky
Sorry but Chordie due to copyright laws is not allowed to host lyrics on the forum from any song which is not owned by the poster.
Even if the poster stated where he got the song from.
This is just Chordie rules which applies to eveyone and keeps this great site out of trouble...
Hope this helps and Welcome to Chordie

Strange how threads run...
This post is well over 2 years old now.
Started by Ovation93 in April 2007 added to until May 2007 then disappeared for well over a year until resurrected by Goodbyebluesky in August 2008. The thread has been popular ever since.
Original contributors are now 2 years older.
Tempus fugit and all that.. :)
Thanks to all contributors to this thread..

If you mean you want to send back to kenny a Audacity project file with 4 unmixed tracks then there is no way to do that I know of.
The best way would be to convert your added tracks to individual mp3s and email them back to Kenny so he can mix them with his original track on his Audacity..
Hope this helps

Hi
I’ve just come across this amazing acoustic guitar player on Utube.. A Russian guy called Igor Presnyakov he’s not a young chap so he’s been around for a while so he’s probably known by some of you guys out there..
His rendition of “Stairway" is one of the best I’ve heard.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGM3Ehs3Hbw
Also he plays a Russian seven string acoustic.. Just incredible.
He covers a lot of others to high standard..

Just thought I share..

I knew what this poem was about before you wrote the end part...
It's well written heartfelt it reminded me about a song
I wrote about this painful suject from a father perspective..
I hope you dont' mind me putting in your post.
called "I wonder"
You never forget......

[D] I wonder what you would look like now [G]would you stand straight and [A]tall.

[D] Yes I wonder what you would look like now [G]would you love us [A]all.

[Bm] And in my [A]thoughts [G]you stand in front[A] me.

[Bm] And you [A] face [G]I imagine that I can[A]see.

[D]Yes I wonder what you would look like now[G] I I guess [A7sus4] I will nev[A]er[D]know.

[D]As my mind recalls the past [G]of many years[A] ago.

[D] I was so much young then[G]and perhaps my loss didn’t [A]show.

[Bm]But now [A] I realise[G]just what you would have meant [A]to me.

[Bm]Now this[A] little emptiness[G] will never let me[A] be.

[D]Yes I wonder what you would look like now[G] I guess[A7sus4] I will nev[A]er[D]know.

[D]Down through the years[G]I still can remember[A] tears.

[D]As we came to  terms[G] and excepted our worst[A] fears.

[Bm]You were the[A] first[G] an expression of our[A] love.

[Bm]But you were taken [A]from us[G] perhaps on  a whim from God[A] above.

[D]Yes I wonder what you would look like now[G]I guess[A7sus4]I will nev[A]er[D]know.

[D]As time has raced us by[G]the hurt has become a just [A]sigh

[D]Just a little memory to have to hold[G]to take until I[A]die

[Bm]You are still [A]with me [G]you have never left my [A]mind.

[Bm]You were[A] something[G] that wasn’t[A] to shine.

[D]Yes I wonder what you would look like now[G] I guess[A7sus4]I wasn’t meant[A] to[D]know.

sorry about the Chords

Hi Tony
Just had listen to your music. Your doing well with your recording..
Like the chorus effect on you guitar. I felt Rock and Roll was a tad bit to long and perhaps needed a guitar break somewhere just to give some more interest to the song.
Just my thoughts..
well done

Hi PapaTom
There's no real way of directly copying Chopro to word or similar app ie having chords displayed above lyrics without tables. However if you use the "Chopro" button on the right of the right of the page of the song you want to copy it then converts the song to pre chopro format. The chords changes are shown between the lyrics and can be copied into word as direct copy. Not ideal but can be edited etc for printing out.
hope this helps
ark

Also copy and paste to this website link http://webchord.sourceforge.net/ converts to chopro format but not sure how it prints out.

Hi Montana W.
Writing different songs is not always an answer to changing your sound as most songs can be done in any musical style if you have musical ability to so.
Sometimes it's best as Selso says to go with style your most at home with and just develop that style and see where it takes you.

Hey Kenny
So you finally got to record this one. Well done smile
I'm away at the moment and only using a laptop to listen through so until I get home I won't be able to give your song a proper listen to..
Sounds pretty good to me even so.

Hi Zurf
I agree your thoughts for a modern replacement for Tascam recorder as sound. The Tsacam can also be used as an interface for a guitar and mic for simple recordings using Audacity software which is a simple way to record directly to your PC and converting to an MP3 for uploading to website.
If moneys tight then you could just replace your old Tascam with a similar one from ebay there's lots on there. I did myself and works ok for me.
Just my thoughts
