Hi michaelc54
I'm pretty sure there's no way to sort artists in that fashion on chordie.
But the idea is quite good. Admin reads the posts so it might be something in the future he might consider.

Hi Phill
I really enjoyed this charming song. All the elements of the song are executed with a professional finish.
The chorus effect guitar so suits your voice.

Re: some one plz make a new better picking songbook (5 replies, posted in Acoustic)
Hi james ouellette
Welcome to chordie..
This question is a little strange. Members make their own songbooks with stuff they like and sometimes make them public for all to see. So what would be better for you is probably not for them.
The best way is to make your own songbook with songs you would like to play/learn from the chordie index.
Some suggestions for picking.
Classical Gas Mason williams
Tears in heaven Eric Clapton
Stairway to heaven Led Zep
you may not like any of them
but there are loads out there to suit your taste..

Hi Daddy
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I like reading your songs especially the seasonal ones.
I don't always post a comment but mostly always read your lyrics and give the song a go on the guitar.
Well done

Re: DaddG? (5 replies, posted in Acoustic)
Hi MegB
Don't know the song but a DaddG is played usually a straight D chord with a added Gnote played on the the low E string 3rd fret.
The DaddF# is the same chord with added F# note played on the low E string 2nd fret. It's a small walk down. If played one after another.
Welcome to Chordie

ok seeing as this is my 4000th post
You know Russ it doesn't seem like yesterday that a certain "Acapo" arrived on the Chordie scene with his "Iron underware" song...
Well done in reaching your 4000th I guess that puts you top of the posters..
Keeping to the spirit of the thread The F B and barres feel like mountians when you climb them and feel more like mole hills when you climb down...

Re: New to playing (28 replies, posted in Acoustic)
just a quick question on each song it has the tab of the chords on the side of the page. when you click on each chord it shows varations of the chord, when it has a number beside it is that the fret you start the chord on
Hi davidwd
Welcome to Chordie, Yes you would be right in thinking the number represents the fret you start on to form the Chord.
Good luck with your guitar journey.

Watching the vid just got me thinking what would happen if the guy's leg or foot happen to get in the way of the jet of water an instant shredding of the non guitar type comes to mind
Still looks like a lot fun err maybe....

Nice one gentlemen.
Great composition and and structure to the song Phill and Russ's added guitar skills gave the piece added interest.
I listened through headphones levels sound ok but Myspace or my broadband connection give rubbish playback with some distortion any chance of the original MP3 so I can have a listen out of cyberland?
Not sure if the mix was a cat in a floppy lift (UK terminology)
Just a thought give it a go in Ourstage charts next month (though I guess Russ might not approve)

Chordpro error: This is not a valid artistname. You will have to specify an artistname in the form {st: Artistname} in the beginning of the code.
Hope you don't mind just corrected the Chopro just the colon missing from the title if you ammend the your original post I will delete my post..

Re: Question for anyone with songs on myspace (13 replies, posted in Recording)
Hi Russ
Thanks for the info on the reasons for the no download option. I can see how Myspace and popular artists might benefit from such a monetary contract. Though originally the option for the public to download was a choice made by the artist it didn’t need to be taken up when the song was uploaded. It seems freedom of choice has been removed with advent of selling songs.
Soundclick has both options to sell a download or allow the song to be downloaded free the artist makes the decision and freedom of choice has been maintained.

Re: Question for anyone with songs on myspace (13 replies, posted in Recording)
The feature which allowed the public to download tracks from Myspace seems to have been removed the option is not given when you upload a song. Alot of changes were made to the player when they altered the format and that was one of them.
If you uploaded your songs I guess you must have the original MP3's. If not as Riddler says Audacity will record straight from the soundcard. Though the quality will not be as good as the original MP3.

Hi 06sc500
If you've got windows media player go to the "burn" section on the player and drag and drop the MP3 you want to copy to CD when you've got the all the songs you want to copy. Insert a blank CD in the drive and press "start burn" and away you go.....

Hi daddy
My wife loves the Xfactor as does many of my family. I'm not so keen but I think it's generally harmless and entertaining in it's way.
I guess it's easy to pull the show to pieces as crass and of no worth musically but millions watch and vote and get enjoyment from the show.
Thanks for another up to minute song..
well done

Re: Chord windows??. (4 replies, posted in About Chordie)
Hi girlee
Have you altered the "view" tab in the box at righthandside of the song. It should be set on "Normal" to view both lyrics and chords.
You can set it to lyrics only which would remove the chords..
