Well I was feeling like a drifter wandering aimlessly, trying this and that nothing seemed right I need to find some direction. I got to thinking after a discussion with Pix about strings and decided to go back to Elixirs after about a year of trying just about everything. I have went back to Elixirs and I don't think I will be switching anytime soon. I feel like I just got new guitars, they may not work for everyone but I like them smile

Heya Jerry,

You should consider visiting Wyoming,  a date to put on your calender for a real laid back great time of jammin for 3 days.
The Bighorn Mountain Festival in Buffalo Wyoming. I also think Tops and Pix need to take a look at it too. It is a small venue but great talent and lots of jammin.

Howdy,
I am working on a project with Kap54 and he sent me a MP3 and I opened it and added 3 tracks to his original. Is there a way for me to leave the project open and send it back so he can mix the tracks without converting it to a MP3.

Thanks Wayne

well that was a quick reply, lol. and an honest one.

I l;ove food too

I cooked a big meal on Saturday night for 10 folk. Roast lamb with garlic, lemon, corriander, onions and mushrooms, roast pork with apples and onions with mash totties, baby totties, brocolli, carrots, sprouts and a superb gravy.
Then in the morning I cooked them all a big fry up, Squared sliced sausage ( a scottish delicacy) black pudding ( the real stuff from thr isle of skye) potatoe scones, fried eggs, fried mushies, bacon.
Tonight was the first time i have not cooked dinner since thursday, it was good to sit back and let my wife cook for me.

I checked out the sights, I think maybe I'll start ratholeing a little money and go for one of them. I am kinda in the doghouse. I bought another ultralight acoustasonic speaker cab to go with my setup. I am now a full stereo operation.
My wife sure didn't think it was necessary when it showed up at the door today sad

I sure would like to try one of them, I will have to check into their site and see if there is a dealer in the state. Our towns are few and far between smile

I have been lookin for a small guitar to keep in my home for the little visitors that come and go. I have tried the little martins and baby taylors and the small crafters. I really like alvarez guitars but these are so new there isn't much out for reviews. Both my grandsons are wanting to learn and I have a couple nephews also that are still too small for a full size so this is #1 on the list right now unless I get swayed another way.

I have been havin a heck of a time recording my Martin H-D 28 and have tried lots of different things. It has a L.R Baggs Pickup in it and it has always been way to muddy and too much bass. Anyway I have a L.R Baggs Para Acoustic D.I. that is a kind of guitar pre-amp mixer, never have used it much. Today I tried some different things finally dialed the bass down and bumped up the mids and left the treble about midway. I think the guitar sound is lots better. If you would like have a listen.

I haven't figured out what they put all them frets on my guitars for I only need three, when I heard you folks talking of bar chords I thought they were Cowboy Chords you play in a bar.

Please add more.

Pix I love it !  I did not take it in the wrong way at all. It just tickled the heck out of me smile Seriously I usually barre use barres on this song when it goes from F  G  and back to F but the strings are way noisy when recording.

I play with an excellent guitar player that thought I should keep my moving up and down the neck when singing to a minimum and I followed his advice and I'm more comfortable I guess.

Kenny I'll bet your's is very good !  Thanks smile

Russell, Thanks for all your help and support smile
