Looking forward to seeing the final product.

So will I, Z!

Question: does your wife (or you) ever dream about him? If so, does he speak to you?

I am a very "vivid" dreamer, and keep a notebook by my bed that I write in as long as my dream(s) are fresh. Sometimes there's a song in there, sometimes not, but it's like being with my parents and/or friends again when that happens.

Wow! Very nice performance by those two, Rick!!! I loved Abba, but never knew much about their band, so now I know where all that beautiful guitar sound comes from. I notice the ladies have some other tracks listed on YT as well. I will be checking those out asap. Thanks again, my friend!

....... We did have a post regarding this, but I, in my infinite STUPIDITY, managed to goof it up by going in and trying to edit the title. Not sure if it can be retrieved, but I have asked Doug if he'd be so kind as to repost the link to Dino's Legacy Site.

I apologize!

Nice one, Mr. Badeye! Great mix of piano and guitar. I had not even heard of Willie Love before this! Man, those guys must have been all over Mississippi and Tennessee!, playin' those "Juke Joints" with that fried chicken, fatback and fried green tomatoes smell!

Here's one from a white boy  who paid his dues with The Paul Butterfield Blues Bandy: The great Elvin Bishop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MCLPtTKKgQ

Well, I tried some of Dondra's old cast-off glasses, but yeah, I'm sitting about three feet away from my screen, so they aren't any help (the strongest ones - I think- are 2.75.

So I bought some of those "dial-in" sight glasses one sees on tv and they seem to be working okay so far. I am also going to my eye doctor next week for a check-up and a look at the macular degeneration which probably has gotten worse as well. Need cataract removal too. All of those together ought to do SOME good, don'tcha think? smile

Thanks, Guys

Heh-Heh. Just showed this to Dondra and she cooed (in that Southern voice): "Oh, how sweet! And look, Bill: He's even got you sitting on the correct side (the American passenger seat). Thanks for thinking about the both of us! We're just glad to be back home, and she has a little "thank-you" gift from me being sent her from Amazon for being so patient with me.

Thanks, Roger

My eyes are getting really bad  (my screen and the icon texts look blurred), so I want to ask what settings some of you might be using on your display? I'm using medium, but HAD been using smaller. The text COLOR is also blurry to see. Maybe y'all can give me some suggestions? This is really aggravating.

Thanks as always for your help!

All is well, thanks everyone and I am sorry for not writing sooner, but after the effects of the anesthesia, all I wanted to do was sleep. Two polyps were found which were snipped and sent for biopsies. My poor wife did the best she could getting us there and back, but neither of us had driven in Atlanta in many years and would up getting lost on the way there.

We could find NO ONE else to drive us, so we HAD to do it together - she driving and me navigating and cursing. She deserves a golden unicorn for putting up with me. I would have pulled the car over and beaten the you know what out of me had I been her.

Anyway, we're back and thank all of you for your love and concern!

Almost 5:30 am here and about6 to walk out the door using my CANE. I'm so weak-kneed from all that stuff I had to drink to clear my intestines.

Thanks everyone

Ask me if I'm worried, yes I am. It's been longer than 10 years since I had my last one and it was clear. Now, I don't know...

I've been making so many trips to the VA Medical Center, I feel like I've already HAD the colonoscopy.

Can't complain about the service, though.

Thanks

Left y'all a note on YT, but for our Chordie friends let me just say that once again you two have captured the "moods'feelings" of many a guy sitting in some isolated bar nursing his last beer before "last call". He's  probably written those words on a napkin, and as he stands to go, he almost forgets it. He's one in a million, this one: A "Cowboy Philosopher" gettin' in touch  with his softer, romantic side.

I only wish that we could share your works with everyone (your fans, whom you have not yet met, I mean). They need "releasing", you two! smile

Not my usual way of "reviewing", is it? wink

Mo', buddy. Those are some sure enough touching words. I am 100% sure your little Miss Zelie will love the tune her grampa wrote just for her and will treasure iot her whole life!

As I wrote Tig a few days ago, this is LEGACY stuff that comes straight from the heart.

Once again, our congratulations from

Thanks, guys. I wondered about a pick guard, but it would sure interrupt that pretty round design around the sound hole and also, I don't believe there'd be enough room even if I by-passed the design.

Does it need to have a hole drilled to let the chord through the bottom of the guitar, guys?
