HI ashisu84,the doc is right.One thing you might do AFTER you heal is keep your hands and fingers out of water,dont do dishes etc,just the usual shower and hand washing.

Hi lastrebel,I do not have a bango or know much about them. If I had one I would start out with dueling bangos from the movie Deliverance.I play it on guitar and I do the bango part by picking it at the bottom of the strings.You might check out some Roy Clark songs also.

Hi just deb,I did not go too the sitetoo see you,but give yourself a break you have only been playing six months.thats nothing you will get better. I dont use a pick,I dont like them.I think picking with seprate fingers makes you a better player. Mark Knoffler of Dire straits does not use a pick,and hes one of this best guitarist there is.

Hi zucko,Ya a tuner is a great and easy way too do your thing,and cheap too. But you need too learn too tune by ear,as some day you will get in a position where you wont have a choice. Dead batterys etc.

Hi phil, these are good tips I would like too add,dont leave your guitar with the neck touching a wall etc.It can hurt the neck always use a stand.I used too use martin polish but now I find that a good furniture polish works very well.It is alot less expensive.

If you dont have too much money you might try looking for a used american stratocaster, try guitar shops,or even pawn shops. I have even seen some people haggle the prices down,and or get acceries with their purches. Good luck

Eric Clapton at the fillmore west,he played with alot of other blues greats that night. I also got too see Jimmy reed ,about a month before he passed away. Saw neil young in palo alto in a small club before he got real popular. Damn my age is showing/////

Hey zenbutcher,sleepwalk was done by santo and johnny. I was servicing a major supermarket and was up in the roof area.I missed the walkway boards and fell through the false ceiling right onto the bakery counter.Idid not get hurt bad but I bleed all over peoples birthday cakes ,dougnuts and pastries. The people were really shocked,I was about ten shades of red. I never told any of my friends about that.
