Hi doc I can name a few bob marleys son, Frank Zappas son,and though these guys are older youcan also include arlo guthree [woodys son] and Hank Williams JR.  I also saw George Harrisons son playing on tv a few years ago he was pretty good, but I dont know if he is playing in a band.       dino

Hi again doc, what drew said is true,I have also always heard that the sound gets better on a guitar as the wood ages,so you might want too replace as little wood as possable. Another thought I do belive badeye is a luthier or has done alot of repair work on them. I would email him at his personal web site and see what he says. I also would keep it in a good hardshell case. That might be bootlegger not badeye.           dino

Thats a tough question, you are in a fix as the guitar is very valuable. I have repaired a few guitars with simple wood putty, but I would not do it too that guitar.I think I would see if martian would give you an opinion on which way too go.Good luck doc.           dino48

HI guitarpix , I think almost any song done by the following three would be easy beginner music, Buddy Holly, Neil Diamond amd Credence clearwater . Most are only three easy chords.              dino48

Hi phil,I think its great that you are trying different styles of playing.alot of us can learn from cds or some kind of visual/written instruction, its really up too you.I was fortunate enough too have six guitar lessons in my life and the teacher stressed playing fingerpicking so I could play songs and do chords and mix in the picking.Works well takes some practice though.                  dino

Most anywhere you go you will see people from many different countries, and most states have most government pamplets written in sevral different languages.                         dino

Hi basti,I had an Ibanez ,but it was a fender strat copy not an acoustic,I was an excellant guitar.Someone wanted too trade me for a les paul and I did. You might want too spend alot of time in a few music stores trying several guitars out, take your time and see which one feels good and sounds good.It is nice too have agood looking guitar, but it is better too have one that feels right too you. Also might ask some of the other players in the store what they think.    dino

Hi flester , that appers to be a real hood ornament of an older model Lincoln or Mercury car.         dino

I agree with everything southpaw41L says,he has bought his way out of  everthing he has done wrong. It is too bad his parents screwed him up for money when he was young. On oj he is guilty, they just started a new trial today on his antics in Los Vegas? (9/15/08) hope he gets convicted this time.
