Hi pix you have some very good ideas, could be someone will look at your post and give them some thought/action. I also think we could add a couple of games like trivia or crosswords etc,and a history area we could all contribute too.

hello bazzip, I am with everone else on the stratocaster,I do not think you can find a better electric for versitilty. Before you buy go to the store and try one out. You might also look at some other guitars.

Re: Electric Guitar Primer? (27 replies, posted in Electric)
for myself ,I think a fender stratocaster is the most versitile you can use,you can get one made in mexico for about $175.00. I also love gibsons 335 but thats alot of money. I might suggest taking afew hours or days at guitar dealers and trying some models out.I will not by one online as I need to feel it and hear it before I buy it,good luck!!

Re: Need help finding gigs (5 replies, posted in My local band and me)
Hi tony you might want to record some of your songs too tape or something and go talk to some of the local club owners and see if they will give you a chance. for practice and some confidence go talk to people at old folks homes or vetrans hospitals, they will usually let you play, and it is good for them also.
