Does anyone play this, if so how? Can anyone tell me what time it's in? Saw it being played on youtube by Peter, Paul and Mary in a fast picking pattern.

you wanna try f# minor?

ebigham1 wrote:

That could mean that your key could be an F. As far as playing with a capo some people use it to make things easier.  You don't have to use it. If you have the capo on the second fret and play an Em chord shape the actual chord is a Fm.

they may have been the only ones available but little improvement in sound and quality has emerged so i stick with my first post with all due respect i might add what improvement could be made that hasn't been done?

hogwash! the reason good guitar players are playing les pauls, telecasters, and stratocasters is they are the hallmark of quality and have set the standard in the industry from the beginning.all you have to do is observe what the rest of the brands resemble if they dont look like a fender or a gibson model odds are the newbie guitarist will not look twice and thats why a vintage fender or gibson demands a high price ticket.so while copies may be as good or better the fact is they are still copies not the origional.

You're right, that's why so many great guitarists chose models like Strats, Teles, LP's, and SG's.  But when people see their idols playing these guitars, they want them too.

With all do respects the reason why they or anyone bought the brands and models mentioned is because they were the only one's available.  Guitars at the time were hand made (with the use of electric machines) not on cnc machines like now.

lieven your boss BR 600 is similar to my Boss BR8 it has a virtual track feature you can splice in corrected tracks or mute out the undesireable sections, all the edit funtions pan,eq,delay, reverb are already contained within the Boss you dont have to add any software to include the song in your library (media player) record the final mixed tracts to the cd and finalize it so it can be read as a cd when you rip it to your library in a mp3 format from there you can upload it anywhere from the browser options on the page you want to place it or email it. for drums i would recomend an alesis SR-16 for bass you have that funtion in your effects onboard the BOSS you just have to take the time to learn how to get the most out of what you already have read the owners manual everything you want to do is in there

on an accustic it might deaden the sound somewhat because the accustic gets its sound from the resonation of the wood and stickers could effect it somewhat and if you plan on keeping it it wont matter till you want to sell it or trade it in it might me a little tough getting the stickers off, stickers wont make you sound better but if it give you emotional security plaster it

i would have to agree with southpaw i dont place any special attachment to a piece of wood some wires and coils its not special i can play just as well on any guitar if the action is set and it stays in tune my electric is a knockoff strat and i have owned several teles strats both american and mim so my guitar was made in china most everything we buy is or part of it the electronics the chips cards t shirts what have you its a global economy so dont get to attached to your possession even if it was made in the usa some component was made somewhere else

i think if you learn scales major and minor to start it will train your fingers and your mind as you get used to the different modes you will sudconciously remember them but it takes a lot of practice to be smooth and fluid but start with the basics first and progress one step at a time if you keep at it you will improve so.......practice basics you have to crawl before you can run

helena i dont drink alcohol of any kind the bottle was a prop filled with water and i gave up smoking anything 6 yrs ago when i was diagnosed with emphezema i have to take medications 4 time a day it sucks but i only take the medications if i want to breathe, the choice under those circumstances is a no brainer.as to why the vidios wont play i dont have an answer regarding sticking with my other qualities i am a writer and i will never be complacent with the middle of the road as neil young pointed out "you meet more interesting people in the ditch"so while i apprecieate the complimentry comments from you i must and will persue what my heart and creative forces lead me nuff said
