WOW - Phill
you are verging on becoming JJJ
All you need is a couple of bread machines !
hmmmm. drum sets ..... if I had one for a week I am sure my wife would never mention the guitars again !
The info regarding Ann only makes me smile - I have that same daily conversation with Pam --- "why do you need all these guitars " she asks.
My reply - I don't, but they aren't going anywhere either.
What is that old adage - " Honey, please don't sell m guitars for what I told you I paid for them " ?
MOJO - I did the same thing - I have decals of my grandkids on my Ibanez hollowbody. - It's the only guitar they are allowed to play with.
the instructions on how to load pictures is here on chordie somewhere - if you go to the tab " About chordie" it is the fifth one down - posted a while ago by

Great Story Peatle !!!
That is fantastic
Phill
I have all my grandchildren on my pics. It cost a bit to have them put on them, but well worth it.
I have four sets pics - one of each grandchild variety of weights or thickness.
I have been told recently that I will have to order a new set in a few months !!!
Cool stuff Phill !

Bill and Dondra
So wonderful to hear this news.
I too wish you and Dondra excellent health and welcome you back at the time of your choosing.
I am thrilled - I really have missed your interactions and wisdom.
Looking forward to more !
Jim

I see you have already been here though.
Good luck small toa
Nice writing Peatle
Thanks Phill
I've added to it if you look again.
I've been having fun with my granddaughter with this one.
Jim
Thanks Peatle
They liked it pretty well
I was playing around this morning practicing Neil Young's Motorcycle Mama.
It occurred right after I had played dinosaurs with my grandchildren.
Somehow in my mind Motorcycle Mama got changed around to Tyrannosaurus Rex !
This is what I came up with. If you have Grand kids - give it a go. (send me a copy)
Phill
still thinking of giving this a go?
it's ok if you don't -totally up to you.
I just always enjoy your versions.
Jim
I have coffee with a little creamer
starts me up to be a dreamer
no time for lunch usually in a rush
maybe an apple if it's lush
Dinner now that's a different story
lots on my menu -go for glory
steaks and chicken so finger lickin'
pasta and salad that's really kickin'
a glass of beer or some Crown that's fine
sometimes it's chard from the vine
nothing fancy, nothing special to see
but it's tasty, and just perfect for me
Scott
I like this one a lot! Can't wait til you can play it for us.
The chorus - so simple - but really powerful - the questions millions ask every night searching for answers.
Well done my friend!
Jim
p.s. check these out !!
Good rant Ann !
Phill should take some lessons from you -
Phill
Nice one !
It's a shame that busy lives make for scarce time together. But on the other hand - it does make us appreciate it when we do get some time to be together and we stop taking it for granted.
It's got to be a balance - we each have to have and do our own things - but we cant let those outside things become too dominant . and we can t let our two circles become concentric - that would become boring and tedious.
That's the art of living and loving.
I'm sure you can develop this into a song. hint, hint, nudge , nudge
Hope you're feeling better these days.
Cheers
Jim
Convenient, but dangerous. I don't trust'em, but hard to escape them.
It's amazing how much your computer knows about you.
Jeff and Phill
Thanks for your kind words regarding this song.
Using the F was kind of new for me, but I liked it. I also liked using the Bm as well.
It's a little different than my usual GCD repertoire.
Phill
I sure hope it isn't too serious. I wish you full and speedy recovery. Anytime you get the chance to give it a go would be great.
I would love that.
Thanks again guys
Jim
This is a song I written earlier, but made a bunch of changes in the lyrics and chords, as well as the title of the song.
Comments (helpful improvements) appreciated !
Last one by Phill was spectacular...
others were cleverly great !
I'll give it a go, but as you now know
I arrived at this party, fashionably late
(and no where near as good as any of the previous)
There once was a girl from down under
she loved to make love in rain and thunder
in the town it always raised such a stir
because many a married man obliged her
Her cousin of course hailed from Wales
quite the opposite, so proper without fail
but one night in a pub, drank scotch from a tub
and lost her standing among good girls of the club.
LOL NICE ONE

You are such a sharp wit !
I sure wish all my chordie friends were my neighbors in reality. It would be such a blast.

Bahahahahahahaha Phil u made me spit good liquor out - so funny!!

singing - or as I call it the bane of my existence is such a gift. there are many levels of it. Your singing reminds me a bit of the great Tom Waits.

Scott that's a funky looking axe.
If it plays great - that is the whole ball of wax!
Hope you enjoy it - look forward to hearing you or " Sonbeam" rip it with that baby !

Jeff
A song that is reflecting my thoughts as I type. I could've retired five years ago
but I still keep going. I actually still enjoy teaching and coaching.
But now that my grandchildren are all going to live within a couple of hours of me - it seems more of a reality.
I might call it quits any day.
Thanks for something to think about.
