Very Cool Cam.
I'm not much into the racing thing either but the history behind the movie must have been fascinating to learn about, let alone be apart of the screening.
I clicked on the link for home on their website and got a trailer that looks pretty good.
I'll be keeping my eyes open for when it comes around.
Thanks
Kenny
Thanks for the link to The Big One
Looking forwards to hearing/reading your song. Sounds like some had a real blast. Ah to be young again.
Thanks Wayne
Hilarious
Anyone know if it can be heard on line?
Kap
Hi Montana,
All good advice above.
Play and write to your strengths.
Kap
Hi Dino,
Thanks for the listen. When I was trying to record it I was have a bad hair day and my fingers weren't working so good so I strummed it out. I re-recorded today as intended finger pick. It's closer...10 more years of guitar and I will be able to play it proper
Kap
Hi Buvvy,
Thanks for the listen and comments. Life was tougher back then. Thankfully things are getting gooder.
Kap
Hey Selso,
I'm glad your enjoyed the listen. Hopefully the lyrics have straightened themselves out. Was that here or at Soundclick?
Kap
Hi Trevor, Thanks mate, I re-recorded it without the organ and I was wondering if I should put it in or not. Now if I could only find a talented player to record a track for me. H-m-m-m-m-m.
Kap
Hi Ark...Yup Now that Audacity is working good everyday I'm gonna go back and try to record all that I have posted. Oiy!!!
I think Audacity was a soundcard problem. Anyways the recording should be a different version.
I'm glad you liked the first version and I hope you enjoy the second version.
Kap
Hi Old Doll
No question...life is getting easier, thanks to good friends.
Glad you enjoyed the listen and the read.
I will send version #2 around to you shortly.
Kap

Thanks Mate.

I'm still working on connecting my philburtflange to my grapplegrommet so I don't get kaduburated in the proccess.
One step at a time for this grasshopper.
I hope i can get a lot out of e-chords.com to. It may sound kinda dumb but... all the talk of midi and I don't know what it is or how works.
In time I'll be pickin some brains on it
Kenny
What a great way to start the weekend.
Sorry no post yet...I just had to get that in before I went on a hunt for worthy Friday Night Video.
Great Idea Badeye
Kenny
That's the ticket Wayne.
Bookmarked and about to get used and abused.
Hey Kaj
Not quite what I'm looking for but it definitely gets a bookmark. Lots of good info here.
Thanks All
Kenny
I'm presently working on a collab with Trevor (ctech) and I need to know if there is a site out there similar to "all-guitar-chords" where you can get the name of the chord by clicking on the appropriate keys. I have no knowledge at all of piano theory and I only play by ear so any sites that would help me get the right chords to Trevor would be awesome.
Muchos Appreciados
Kenny
After watching #15 I knew my name wasn't gonna be there. Maybe in my next life.
Cool vid.
Thanks bensonp.
Kenny
Cheers to Arthur
That's a pretty big global line up. I think I'll go grab a 6 pack and join in.
Is this the same Guinness that makes beer and has the record book?
Thanks for the links Lena
Cheers
Kenny
I can only hope that the media lets him be invisible for awhile. He deserves the respect and dignity owed to him and his family.
Enjoy your first home cooked meal in too long a time Mr.Taylor.
Kenny
Thanks for the links Pix..Never too Old to learn something new.
Looking forwards to #3
Kenny
Real Sweet Playing BanjoEds.
Love that old time playing...Keep at it.
P.S. In the recording section there is a sticky for anyone who wants to volunteer their musical ability and instrument on collaborations. Check it out and hopefully sign up cause there's lots of room for a good banjo player.
Oh Yeah.....Welcome to Chordie, lots of great people, advice and banter going on here so don't be afraid to join in.
Kenny
You had me scratching my head on the "Happy Enchilada Song" Another good Prine story.
Younger years indeed. I'm glad someone had a "movie camera" to record moments like that.
Gracias Again
Kenny
Thanks for the link Wayne
Can never get enough of John Prine. It's nice to see and hear him in his younger days. I've never seen this vid so it's a treat. I'll be checking out a few more of these.
Big Time Thanks
Kenny
I found that there was a pretty large selection of padded envelopes to choose from. I used the same size as was sent to me by Nela (approx 5" x 7" x 1/2" or so thick). The finger pics made out OK. Lots more room for finger pics, more pics and friendly notes. If there isn't room you can upgrade to a larger envelope but I don't know how that would affect shipping.
Kenny
Nice Write Trevor
It's tough to find a silver lining in today's world for sure. Giving the benefit of the doubt can be a good thing or a bad thing....but then, as you say "What will tomorrow bring................I walk the line"
Good food for thought.
Kenny
PS I should have something for you shortly.
Phew-w-w-w-w-w....I'm real glad you got the pics Roger.
I was hoping I didn't have a brainfart when I wrote down your address.
PS I'm glad you liked the pac-o-pics... I don't have a camera to take a pic of the pics...Do You?
Kenny
Two Words...Wow....Wow
Thanks for bringing Tommy back for an encore here at Chordie. A treat for sure.
Thanks for the links
Kenny
Pics were posted on Sept 14/09 According to the postmaster it should take 10-14 days to travel across the ocean to Portugal. Still a little time to go for arrival date.
