I think it also works by just turning your head upside down. Bald as a coot on top but with a rediculously clipped, trimmed or similarly rediculously long beard. From your photo, Zurf, it looks like you're half way to legend status. lol

I can just see the old guy on the fruit and veg counter enthralling the ladies with his vegitable display.

Vanheusen

I notice in the example you give that the strings shown are that of a 5 string bass guitar. Is it bass you play? The principle of TAB, as shown by southpaw, is the same, just the names of the strings is different.

Good man. I've toyed with the idea of Jamplay a lot. Is it worth it?

AND THEN DON'T FORGET TO GO BACK TO JUSINGUITAR.COM AND MAKE A DONATION smile

I've read elsewhere that generally the last chord played in a song will show what key it's in. A lot of the time the 1st chord will be the key and will be the same as the last chord. This is not a rule but generally speaking if the last chord is not the key then it sounds a bit off.

So if the last key is a D then the song is in the key of D.

I sit back and wait for this to be torn apart by the theory buffs amoung us. Pile in!

Here here. There is no better place to go than the recording itself. Sorry Pat, it's not what you want to hear but it's the best way.

I found this on youtube. It may or may not help. The first bit of the first link looks interesting for you but the rest of the clip is crazy.

I'd also suggest tuning your guitar to an open chord. Jeez, this is gonna be tough for you - like starting again. I truly hope you get there.

I always end up slipping into ABBAs Dancing Queen.

Don't ask!

Hey, Little Wooly you don't need to justify yourself to anyone wink

I don't know the song but the listings on various sites give the chord as Bm7b5 which can be played like this...   XX0201

Hi Ahmad,

If you are using this listing of Be With You

http://www.chordie.com/chord.pere/www.u … ;id=368496

then you will need to put a capo at the 4th fret if you would like to play along with the recording. This may help you find the groove. You could try this strum patern... DDUDUDD

Alvee,
Give a good close look at the string to guitar contact spots at the bridge and on the nut. A little pencil lead applied will create a smoother gliding surface and enable the strings to fit nicely in the grooves on the bridge and on the nut. This might do the trick???

Thanks for that. I'll give it a go.

Just tried it and it sounds much better. Cheers Tony!

I put elixir's on the last time I changed and have been impressed with the long lasting tone. My only beef is that the 6th string sounds a lot duller than the rest (even straight after fitting). Did I get a bad set or is this normal?
