Cool pete,you beat me too getting a martin,I had to buy a new tv,so I have to wait longer but I will own a martin one of these days,have agood time with it and post some pics.

Hi again jcellini,you might consider buying a mexican made strat,they are fairly cheap and sound about the same as the american one,then see if you have enough for a gibson,or get a gibson a little later. I have a mexican made strat and it sound/plays as well as my friends american made. I only paid $170.00 for it case and all.

Hi mr a, nice too see you at the site, you should check out the public songbooks here at chordie there are songs for beginners in there. You might also try some music from creedence clearwater, buddy holly,Bob dylan, and nieil diamond,they are all pretty easy to play and well known,alot of beatle songs are easy also, Good luck and have fun!!

Hi jcellini, I have owned one at least of both these models,they are both great guitars. It is a hard pick,I finally got mine down to the strat, as it is a little more verisitile and lighter in weight. It really comes down to your taste. I really do not play electric much now,I did what you are doing acoustic to electric,but I came back to acoustic and only play electric about ten percent of the time.

I stay logged in all the time,saves the hassle of looking for my log on thingie.

I like all the added on electronic goodies it has,you just need some headlights and wipers to be street legal now. I am really impressed with your guitar,next time I go to guitar center I am going to go look at them if they have them!

Thats one good looking guitar,I like all the electronic gadgets on it. What are they? When you goshopping with your wife bring your guitar with you and sing,play,maybe that will stop the go with me plan.
