Thanks Guys

Don't I know it.
My apologies mekidsmom, somehow when I saw Arks chords I related that to your poem.
Brainfart on my part. Another dyslexic moment.
I hope you except my apologies as it still plays like it will be a beautiful song.
Kenny
Sorry Ark
Thanks for the great pics Lena. It looks like you had a super time with Sue and Paul. How cool is the internet eh! when friendships like this can be attained.
Awesome
Kenny
I'm gonna have a visit to Sue's page, she's a great lady that deserves the support. Thanks for letting us know.
I thought I would bring this thread back up for two reasons.
(1) Christmas is coming and along with Christmas comes partying that includes drinking. Please don't drink and drive, for your sake and the others on the road. It is not worth it. It's to easy to make a mistake that will change your life and or others forever. Call a "cab" or "Keys Please" and enjoy the holidays.
(2) Well the road was long and the journey was nerve racking but my day in court for DUI was today and the verdict is...............................................................NOT GUILTY.
Thank the Lord I can Breath Again. My anxiety disorder did not make this journey any easier (the last two months were hell for me and I started smoking again but I'll remedy that real soon) Anyways a load has been lifted and I can now think a little clearer. Thanks for all the support on the original post, I am gonna hunt it down and post the link for those that haven't read it cause there is some good discussion there and of course........Christmas is coming.

Merry Early Christmas All
Hi MKM,
This is a beautifully written piece that tugs on the heartstrings and tells a very intimate part of not only your life but sadly many more.
I to am looking forwards to the recording ,but please record it when you want to and are ready, not when you feel you have to.
You have the talent to write...You Go Girl
Sorry I can't help you out Old Doll figuring this stuff out is just not my cup of tea.

Happy 50 Badeye :

Ya gotta love a good blues harp to getcha jumpin. :
Hi Buvvy, Nice write. :
Protecting our freedoms as done by those in the services has been taken for granted hugely over the years. I have as sense that it is getting better in that respect but unfortunately it will never be total.
Keep writing songs with this message so when a vet reads/hears it he'll know in his heart he is appreciated.
Recorded??? I hope so. :
Kenny
That would be Swamp Witch.
Here's a link with lyrics and vids.

So There you are.... I went looking for your tunes at SoundClick.
I forgot about myspace. Brainfart on my part.
Are you sure you weren't in a recording studio on your holidays? All three tunes are very good productions. Kudos
Get up and Go sounded very John Lennon-esk to me. I really enjoyed the listen.
World to Life has a great message along with great vocals and arranging.
Vengeance will be Mine....ditto to all above.
Your setting the standards pretty high my friend. :
Keep at it
Kenny
I would try out "Hide Your Love Away"
Hope it helps

Happy Birthday Russ 68 and Looking Good Man

Hi Badeye,
Thanks for bringing this back up.
This may be a dark, slow number but it tells an all to truthful story.
Right or Wrong...war sucks.
This is an older post....Do you have it recorded?
Nice Write:)

TGIF
And now performing, may I present the great Alvin Lee.
Real nice work on this Wayne
I play this in 4/4 time also but not half as purdy as you.
It was a real treat to listen to. I'll be back for more for more listens for sure.
Kudos
Kenny
Welcome to Chordie Jinkazima.
Please post your own thread for your poetry as you seem to be highjacking this thread. More people will see it if you have your own thread.
Thanks and nice write.

Another fine piece of writing Lena
This one really tugs on the old heart strings.
I'll bet your son is as proud of you as you are of him.
Most Excellent.

Great Thread... Here's my contribution
Nice job on that Wayne, That was also one of the first songs I learned to play and sing at the same time. I have the album by the Kingston Trio around somewhere. I think I'll go on a treasure hunt as its been a while since I've heard the song and the harmonies.
Thanks for the history lesson Topdown...All these years I've known this song I never knew it was a true story. Very Cool Indeedy.
Thanks Mekidsmom for tweeking Waynes interest in this. It really is a great song
Kenny
You have a very good memory Ken as that is what I was talking about. Say Hi to the misses for me.
"No Gods" Loved it. I'll be hunting up some of his links for sure. Thanks
Say Hi to the misses for me.
Hey Wayne...That just means I still got a pulse
Looks like everyone had a great time Ken Thanks for sharing.
Two questions......1st;What is the name of the song on the vid and who is playing/singing it.
2nd; Who is doing the camcorder recording
cause they should have panned left at the 1:28 mark. Just kidding mate. Great vid, looking forwards to next years installment.
