No problems, working good in southwest Virginia.

Beamer and Jets, I gotta tell ya, my daughter and I like it. Oh and by the way - my name is Thomas and we had an old dog named Brandy.

Welcome to Chordie Steve. Please accept my condolences. Lots of us pulled a guitar out of the closet, blew off the dust and started playing again. You won't find a nicer group of people to have fun with.

Yep, ya nailed it.  THUMBS UP!

Just thinking about wackin my guitar on a chair make me cringe. I did put a crack in a 12er that way, wish I knew then what I know now, I probably could have made the repair. No "armed" chairs are permitted in the music room.

It's here on chordie, I'm thinking you mean "come sail away".  Select "Artists" to find Styx, you'll find "Come Sail Away" in this listing. Chords are Am, C, Cmaj7, F, G.

I thought that it was just my computer, so maybe it's not on my end? Thats OK because I'm never in a hurry anyway.

Bought a hand held GPS unit to use while hiking and searching for old family burial sites and found it useless while under the tree canopy. Glad that I kept the trusty old magnetic compass or I probably would never have found my way out of these mountains. My step daughter has a GPS in her van and really enjoys using it. I'm rather technologicly challenged so I think I'll just keep the old folding maps.

Well said Zurf, you are indeed a wise man.

I've not built a guitar but its 1st on my bucket list, I have the tools and a good workshop, and soon to be retired. If you run into a problem, I'm sure someone here can offer advice. keep us posted on your progress. To play a guitar you built with your own hands, man it just don't get any better than that.

I prefer wide straps, made out of a soft nylon woven material that conforms to my shoulder.

Yea, ya got my attention, and I don't even consume alcoholic beverages. Moonshine and sweet tea the beverages of choice out here on the ridge.
