Check out Agile at Rondo Music. You can get an excellent LP copy in that price range. I own one and have played both the Epi and Gibson. I can't tell the difference

And Acid Folk as well?

Didn't know there was such a thing...but to be honest I wouldn't have had I known. You won't find many Rap fans here on Chordie

Don't have a best but how about a worst musical score. The original Planet of the Apes movie (with Charlton Heston). This is the worst score in movie history. When they are in the desert at the beginning the music is so non-melodic it's painful.

Best maybe Goodwill HUnting; I've always loved Elliot Smith

Get a 12 string. You won't regret it. I resisted thinking I really wouldn't play but man oh man I pick it up a lot. Check out Alvarez....very playable and economical

Well done Alvee33. I also enjoyed the Thin Lizzy cover from your youtube page. A great rendition

Thanks. I've been looking at a few but hadn't considered Washburn (not sure why). Being a far from professional player (and much closer to hack), I can't justify (or more precisely can't convince my lovely wife) the ES335 is an absolute necessity.
I like the salute headstock idea. I too am irritated by the snob attitude towards non-vintage off brands. If I like it and it works for me, I don't care that it doesn't say Gibson, Fender or Martin on the headstock. If you play a Fender (and I'm guilty of this crime) that's great but every one is different. I've played some pretty crappy name brand guitars and some awesome lesser known brands as well. Too often it's about the guitar not the player.
Sorry kind of a rant....Thanks for the input on a hollowbody.

Hey Southpaw41L. How is that Washburn Jazz guitar? I'd love to get a ES335 but I'm looking for something a little more "budget friendly"; Any recommendations?

Good advice Nela,

Where the heck were you when I needed you. I too feel the g fingered with the pinky is the way to go. I learned it that way and now on some songs I switch the other way, but I feel it has more advantages than index, middle, ring. We have argued this one several times in other posts.
    .

Sorry I missed the other post...that is THE way to play an open G. I learned the without the pinky way and had a bear of a time learning THE way

Thanks for sharing. Maybe the next album could be an acoustic cover compilation called "From the Bench"?. Well done as always

He was suprisingly influential. I guess there are alot of "human livestock" out there. SOme folks are just looking for something to believe in...anything to believe in.

He's plain old wired wrong. Crazy, crazy, crazy

At least he got something. He's old enough that he may not see any other life than prison anyhow. No matter how famous and/or wealthy you are, if you take a life you should be punished period. 18 yrs is a bit soft. And I'd say he's more crazy than genuis though they say it's a fine line.

Needs to be set up by a pro. Could be a number of things ranging from simple to complex. Most times it's a quick fix. If it's new bring it back to the music store you bought it from; they should have set it up in the first place. If they're worth their salt, they'll step up and fix it for you. If you bought it on line, you'll have to incur the cost (hope you saved enough buying on line to pay for the set up).

Sometimes Norton can be very wrong. I used to run it up until about 6 months ago. By your link, it looks as if the misinformation has already been corrected. I'm now running MacAfee which does not ID this site as a threat but has ID'ed several that I regularly visited with Norton. Like anything else, use it as a guide. I spent 6 years as a system admin and never found a product that was fool proof. Common sense and some sort of AV is all you can do.
Chordie is very safe.

Sounds like a wonderful time, Zurf.  Wish I were closer.

I second that. Too bad about the recording equipment. would have been nice to hear excerpts from Zurfapaloolza.

Do you mean the Beatles "grew" more as artists than the Stones. I'd agree with that for sure.

I always "connected better" to Lennon and felt his work was more diverse musically. maybe just me...
