Thanks TF.  I hope you read the other one also.

I have a third but I wanted to let Phill look and see if it was acceptable to put on here.

As things go, we are still under the same roof and trying to maintain a likeable friendship while being semi separated.

I told her thanks fo rthe pain as it is a wicked mean MUSE.  and that i never thought I would write something like what I have about us.

I fear this will be used against me yet I will write it anyway.

Man, how do I even express anything anymore?

You told me there was no hope of future.

I said thank you.

We had a wonderful evening of drinks and intimacy.

I said thank you.

I say thank you,

Because you don’t want to hear I LOVE YOU.

And Yet,

I had to say it this morning.

I do not wish to diminish the beauty of last night,

The relaxation on your face, sitting at the table and the smile that was with it.

A real smile no doubt,

was there any sadness hiding behind it?

The love we made ,

Make no mistake on what I gave.

I gave you my love, or I might as well have not been in there.

Waking up this morning,  I had to say

I LOVE YOU

Though you don’t believe it.

Is this really what you want?

You say you are not “in Love” with me.

I fear this will be used against me

Making last night the last kiss of our life?

You know how I feel.

You tell me things will be better.

I know how you feel,

and I think you may have doubts.

Your stubborn pride not letting you be,

You’re digging in.

I just want you to see.

You say I am not be the guy for you anymore, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, But neither is he.

I fear this will be used against me

Yet I say it any how

My love is true, although I was not good at showing it, neither were you.

I know we cannot burry the past.

But we could accept it and smile at last.

You told me there was no hope of future.

I said thank you.

We had a wonderful evening of drinks and intimacy.

I say thank you.

I say thank you,

Because you don’t want to hear I LOVE YOU.

and yet i had to say it to you.

As I lay here in this bed feeling empty and alone,

I want to call you and ask you to come back home.

Sleeping beside you and caressing your skin, listening to you sleep like I did when we began.

Feeling the movement of your body as sleep sets in makes me ask myself why why was I so????

As imperfect as we may seem

I love you so much

I just want to lay here and scream.

I know you are here because of the kids

I know certain times I've not been able to give you that you need

So the minute you leave I lay and my body feels cold,

I lay here and Shake

I lay here and think of how I ache.

And then I sit here but I think

of how good we feel when we're together and the lights are dark.

And then my mind See's you with another and it breaks my heart.

Then I sit here and the guilt sets in,

instead of bringing my thoughts to you,

I tossed them away on meaningless tots.

Your kiss this morning,

so soft and sweet. I didn't want you leave.

I know you have spoken to your friend by now,

It hurts to think is that is the first thought that comes to you

I may be wrong, but I can't tell when you say I love you .
I know you do. But how much is still true?

You have every right to ask the same.  I have no excuses for my actions of the past.

You have said that you were not able to set that aside. Or not willing.

As I lay here in this bed feeling empty and alone, I want to call you and ask you to come back home.

What & What Nots
D A G   F G

I don’t know what I can do,
I don’t know what I can say,
I don’t know what I can do,
All I know is I LOVE YOU

Over the years we fought a lot,
Told each other what and what not.
Over the years we fought a lot,
Told each other what and what not’s.

Now I’m here and I feel alone
You don’t love me and all is unknown
All these things we’ve said and done,
Shooting at each other like a bullet from a gun.

I don’t know what I can do,
I don’t know what I can say,
I don’t know what I can do,
all I know is I LOVE YOU

G to F to G to F and something or another

Over and over and over again
I’m going to say it till you let me in.
Over and over and over again
I’m going to say it till you let me in.

I chased you off to the arms of another,
I can’t even call my mother,
Chased you off to the arms of another
OH G*%^&%^&!!
HIT ME BROTHER!

I don’t know what I can do,
I don’t know what I can say,
I don’t know what I can do,
all I know is I LOVE YOU

So to my chordie family, I am going to be posting a few things that I have written.  This is a heads up that
1.  Pain is the best motivator for creativity
2. I love all you guys weather I have met you or not.
3. Please bare with the stuff you see in poetry section as it will be raw open and powerful.
4.  Special thanks to a few of you (and you know who you are) for the time you have already given me.
5. No I will not harm myself or anyone else.  As long as I have my music and my friends. One outcome or the other, I will rise to be a better person.

So check out my "What and Whatnots" song in "My band and me"  before asking any questions.

This is a powerful song, yet I kept it upbeat.

Lyrics and 2 other poems will be posted soon.

I sent a WAV file to Jerome to do his magic with,  but this vid my son filmed came out pretty good.

All comments welcome.

IDK about that one but my buddy always used a Dean Markley Piezo stick-on and it was really nice (no volume knob) run it into ta volume pedal?
Might be a better control with less noise.

A day for me to just put my mind in a place where I didn't have to think.

A place where its just my son and me creating the beat, making the sounds that kept my mind from going to where it does not need to dwell.

A few things don't mix well as I was improvising most the jam and so I edited out some stuff.

Hope you like it.

Hey Jim ... another one in progress, eh? Good for you! The wiring for a Les Paul is indeed a bit more complex than a Strat, 'cuz we can't buy a pre-wired pick-guard and just drop it in. It's pretty hard to go wrong with pickups from Guitar Fetish (1/2 to 1/3 the price of brands) and here's the link to their Humbucker selection:

An original Les Paul pickup would have had Alnico II magnets, and the GF "Classic II" has that traditional tone of the original Gibson "Classic 57's" or "490's.". The GF website has sound bites for most of their products, so you can hear how they sound ... just run your laptop through a decent set of speakers.

For what it's worth, I'm going to build a Les Paul for a winter project, and am planning a set of Seymour-Duncan P-Rails for it ( https://www.seymourduncan.com/pickup/p- … et-black-3 ). They're a lot more $$$, but I love the versatility they offer, with 3 distinct pickup voicings for each one.

Gotta ask .. .what color are you going to dress it up with?

Why not some GFS rails, they are great.  I have used the strat size humbucker rails and the regular HOT Rails in my sons flying V.

Im a big GFS fan.

THIS GUY EXPLAINS IT BEST https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmN7fK3fKUE

FOR A GREAT SOUND OF ANALOG CHORUS IS "COME AS YOU ARE" BY NIRVANA. THAT INTRO IS ALL ANALOG CHORUS.

Chorus and reverb on vox is great. Also for vox reverb delay/ chorus.

Hi Beamer....oh yes I intend to use the distortion and gain function to it's limit. But not on acoustic guitar! That bit of gain and overdrive is enough to get heard during a solo without changing amp settings. I like my acoustic clear with a little reverb and a nice chorus, and this beauty has that in spades.

Just give it try on the acoustic.  As I said, just a hint of OD.  Won't distort like full distortion.

I have my set up for the acoustic, but I can also punch my channel 1 with some OD an it sounds really good.

Add a hint of distortion to it,   just a squeeze of overdrive,.   It will really open your style up!

i cant function with out my music.  I play  and I listen.

When the sound of your own drum becomes more important than the sound of the band, You need to step back and decide why your playing.

That seems really cool!

or you could, for that price get a very nice Ibanez RG450DX.  The RG series is proven awesome! LOL  OR just get one of these from Guitar fetish  https://www.guitarfetish.com/XV-555-Dou … c_519.html  Xavier was rated very high in a guitar world  "LP copy" review.   I have played one or two at the music store.  That trem is floated and double locking.  ( Pretty much the original FR  design)

I have to just let everyone know how surprised I was to get this e-mail.

"Just emailing you to give you an update regarding your order with us.  Unfortunately, the TC Helicon Mic Mechanic 2 you purchased is not up to our standard of B-Stock quality upon further inspection. We are expecting a shipment of new units in about 4-5 days time time. If you are willing to wait, we will honor the B-stock price and have a brand new item shipped out to you directly from our warehouse.  Please let me know how you would like to proceed and if you have any questions."

I was skeptical ordering from this company, but it looks like I will be getting a brand new toy at the used price which saves me about 36 bucks.
