nice sounds on your band's performances.  Like the special effects on the screen.
Is that a telecaster you are playing ? It looks and sounds fantastic.

keep 'em coming man, fun to watch and makes me envious at the same time. smile

Thanks for sharing
Jim

Thank you Jim the special effects are gleaned from various you tube videos I filmed with my HD cam off of the screen and processed them in TrakAx video program which has green screen (chroma key) functions. yes it is a new Modern players Telecaster the bridge is a humbucker the mid is a strat and neck is a tele lipstick pickup it also has a treble boost and a lightning fast neck,.I picked it up from Sweetwater as a demo for $265.00 they sell for almost twice that now but well worth it thanks for viewing and commenting smile

Great, love the instrumental break. In previous posts I've commented on not being able to hear the bass, but on this number he's right up there with you. I wonder if the drummer's ok after taking the full force of the nuclear bomb in the backdrop.

KIT yep good ol rock n roll nothing better for me,we did adjust the mic position to pickup the bass better and I am responsible for the bomb and face melting footage I shot that with my I phone off the tv and the drummer is radiation free lol thanks for watching. smile

Cool  song  Russell  well  played  , I  would  have  liked  your  vocal  a bit higher  in  the  mix  for my  old  ears   but  it  rocks along  very  nicely. Great  stuff .

note on the mix , Graham I video taped this with a Sony MVI movie cam and should have fed the audio into my pc and processed it separate but I was a bit tired not a very original excuse but at my age better ones are harder to come up with lol  I like the sound of my Tele on this I am using a Boss ME-50 for the delay and distortion and kicking thru a Crate and Marshal amp stereo to fatten the sound I agree it rocks along fun to play. thanks for the feedback smile

Yep. Remember it well. It was the first 45rpm I ever bought, at a place called Tri-State. It was a fairly large, 2 floor variety store. Nothing like Wally World is now but back in the day it was a pretty big in a small Pa town. A set of 10-12 concrete steps lead you to the front door. Walk in and the LP's were along the wall immediately on your right. About halfway back the wall the 45's started. If you turned left when you walked in you would walk past the only cash register and came upon a huge tube section with a tube tester in the middle of it all.
I was getting ready to start 9th grade, which was considered high school at that time. Big changes coming. I was going to have to start moving from one classroom to another instead of having the teachers doing the shifting around.

Yep. I remember that song and a lot that was associated with it vividly. I can't remember the last time I thought of those things. Thanks for stimulating my memory. smile

Joe so many songs from this era endure the test of time good is good no matter how many years and styles come and go thanks for watching and commenting smile

Good sounding group you got there, Russell. I agree about the settings, and can't imagine playing without a little bit of chorus + a little bit of phaser in the path ... just more full sounding, as you say.

Thanks TF smile we are building quite a list and still have no name for the band something will come up no sense it forcing it smile

You guys just have so much fun, great sound and visuals. Did The Hollies do the original of this?

When it is fun it aint work I am using a Crate amp and my Marshal which has a Bugeria cabinet I have both amps going stereo to get that full sound and I use a tad of stereo chorus on my ME-50 for the spacious fat sound I have never played this before and I thought John Foggerty sang it, little do I know thanks for letting me know, and for your comments smile

Thanks BGD smile I used a Sony HDR-MV1 movie cam to record the video against a  green screen backdrop the stereo mic's on the camera are quite large for the size of the camera they are designed for live music filming all the video editing was processed in my TrakAx video program which has a Chroma key(greenscreen) feature it takes a bit of time to do it but I have a lot of that  lol thanks again for your viewing and comments smile

Great number, it moves along at a good pace, I just wish your bass player would crank the volume up a little more. Love the backdrop.

Keepitreal thank you, The volume on the bass is not his fault the mic stand was bumped and threw the focus out along with the stereo mics it wasn't noticed till we reviewed the material on the playback, also when I uploaded the song to my pc I just used the card reader had I first sent the audio track I could have converted it to a wav file and then polished it up in my mastering program Izotope advanced 7 and boosted the bass and  evened it out before adding it to the video in my video software program something I will be doing from now on but the idea did not occur to me till after watching the video on You Tube it sounded  good in the head set, thanks again for taking a look smile
