Ok! The picks have been posted to the next Tíg [ House ]

I had great fun trying some playing and picking some to keep. I particularly liked a small pink riviera pick.
I also took a heavy  brown fender pick , i liked its shape. I did add some myself and some other wee bits.
So once again My Thanks"
Im enclosing a photo of contents  i took just before posting this morning.

This is just a piece about Haiti and the turmoil  there in. I read a book  about 10 years ago or so  about  Haiti.
It was Herbert Gold," The best nightmare on earth. I remember it as a great  lighthearted insight into a country, id most likely never visit, I had read other stuff which gave me the shivers about the place. But now i wish i could do more the contribute some euro.

Apocalyptic Debris.  Helena Donovan

An island so small, Duvalier dreams
With Voodoo priest, cute Haitian pigs
I feel your Fear, see your desperation
So much suffering in this 21st century

I hear,
Chimes ring out, underground pleas
Modern phones, muted replies.
No logistics plan, no early rescues
Modern   technology, yet!
Nature defeats you.

Also,
Your gates were opened fully
For your prisons worst inmates
Sluiced its dredges to the streets
Adding   evil to heartaches

I wish,
your rescue to be quick
Your fears to be  depleted
Water  to sustain you, food  to appease you
Family reunions, to shape your resilience
Recreating for you a new existence

I’m humbled,
While my cupboards have plenty
You have death and malaise
No water, or food, just disease
  Miracles abundant to you
In your apocalyptic debris.

Loves been good to me. Johnny Cash.

I know Sinatra has a polished performance with this song but, i love this rugged version.

This was one man i always wanted to meet in person. ALAS !

Ps, Toots, Jean Jean ! The prime of Miss Jean Brodie was a fave film of mine.
Great romantic song.

I love this piece.

Many years ago i had a full time day job, but my great love was singing with my group most evenings at that time.
Ya know i never felt tired. Id always eat early in the day, so i could have better breath control when singing.
Very important not to eat a big meal if your going singing for some hours..  Drink loads of water also.
Ah, them was the real good ole days.
Thanks for the reminder of same.

Be happy and keep doing what your doing.
