Hi Roger,
I really like your poem, well done sir!
The "bom dia" saying has made its way to the US in the form of an energy drink! Just a few days after you posted your poem, my wife  walks in the house with a little clear bottle, decorated with purple tribal tattoo art, a flame, and a yellow lid. It's supposed to be a "natural" enegy drink that contains acai juice, black tea, yerba mate', guarana , etc, and is rich in B6 and B12 vitamins( used by the body to convert nutrients to energy). Pretty cool huh?

Hi Oscar,

SouthPaw41L here again. I've listened to your tunes again and I'm liking them more each time. Nothing personal but I despise "fake" drums. Your keyboard playing is top notch and your voice selections on your keys are tasteful and fitting. What is your brand of weaponry?( type of keyboard)and who are some of your favorite piano/keyboard players?  I'd like to hear you and gal without the electronic drums. But that's just my humble opinion and personal wish.  Your girlfriend has amazing talent and a absolutely beautiful voice. Her style reminds me a bit of Edie Brickel. Keep her intersted and encourage her as much as you can.
We're not allowed to directly advertise our products for $monetary gain here on Chordie but we can provide links to myspace and the like. Keep pumpin' out the tunes, you two have some serious potential. And when you've signed the stadium touring deals, keep me in mind when you're seeking a hugely experienced, moderately talented guitarist!!!(haha)

Scroll down to the tuning options, select your tuning of choice, key of desire scale, and mode of desired scale, then the scale will appear above on the fretboard layout.

Hi Songsterman,

Welcome to Chordie, great first post! I'll have to agree with on the "Little Martha" tune being one of the most beautiful tunes ever created ( along with Jessica!!) and i did not know that Dylans " Blood On The Tracks" was all in open E( I'm gonna have to look into that one!haha).

Also, wondefrul advice regarding the spare guitar to leave in open E ( or any other for that matter) tuning. Evolved wood is a funny scientific element especially when tension reduction or expansion is involved. Look foward to hearing more from you.....

Hi Strat Dude,
I would highly advise you to first be concerned with individual notes on the fretboard and their realtion to the arrangements of songs.(simplified; each chord change on guitar = note change on bass)

Next, I would suggest learning scales in the appropriate key of the song(s) you're working on( simplified; knowledge of scales in proper key= fancy fills)

Finally, I would throw a few bass chords in desired song at appropiate times, careful not to over play, bass guitar can be overbearing if it's not done tastefully. Bass/guitar chords can be found right here on Chordie. Just click on the resources tab, choose desired chord and take away the B and E string on the chord grid. ( unless you're playing a 5, 6, or more string bass, then we need to talk more theory and chord structure). Good luck, keep it simple at first, get fancy as you progress.

Here's another link for The booga that should be very helpful. It's a pretty thorough gathering of great all-time jazz guitarists. There are no specific tabs or chord charts to instruct specific songs but this link does provide an incredible list of study subjects...
