The little gizmo your talking about is a pick punch. I bought one about a year ago and could not be happier with it. I have made about 500 picks with it with no problems. You can punch picks out of just about any plastic, even old credit cards ! They sell them at www.pickpunch.com. I bought mine on ebay for $20.00. I love this item !!!

I have small hands and can't quite reach some chords so I use a bar chord or substitute another chord that has a simular sound. I also cut my first finger on a table saw a few years ago and have no feeling in the nerves in it. Do any of you substitute some chords?

My mother was a guitar player all of her life. When I was in second grade she bought my first guitar with one of these simular things on it. They are OK if your a kid I guess, but I'll keep playing my Fender Stratocaster thank you.

The Fender Stratacaster is my pick for best electric guitar. I Love the 5-way switch, whammy bar the way it is slim, shape of the double cut away body and overall apperance. Add it to a Fender Amp and you can't ask for more I think.

Hi, I served in the U.S. Air Force from June 1968 till June 1972. I server 15 months in Tripoly, Lybia within those 4 years. At the same time Momar Kadauffe overthrough the Lybian government in 1969, I was caught up right in the middle of it. Twice they tried to overrun us with tanks but somehow we escaped with our lives. Believe me when I tell you all we still live in the greatest country in the world and I love our country so much that I would be willing to do it all over again ! I was dischared in June 1972 at the rank of sergeant and glad to be home again although I was never really thanked for my sevice untill recently. Sometimes when I'm playing my guitar I play some of the sad songs thinking of those times. I think of my guitar as my best buddy because it was with me over there.

MY first amp was some small cheap thing that I bought at a fle market. I don't even remember what kind it was anymore it's been so long ago. Anyway it finally broke down. Than I was at a friends house and he had just purchased a Fender Twin Reverb 65' reissue and it sounded so great that I just had to have one. I went to EBAY and started to search. Finally I found one and started to bid on it. I won and couldn"t beleave it ! I paid around $1000 for it, but let me tell you it was worth every penny. 85 amps, two twelve inch speakers and plug-ins for four guitars. What a sound ! I bought a Fender Stratacaster guitar to go with it and am loving both ! I don't mean to brag, but I am glad I sacrificed and spent the money. It sure was worth it.
