there are many great singer/songwriters but there are too many crap ones around at the moment. it's the thing now and it's gone too far.

hey king of scotland
i agree that those are bands i would love to hear and would give money if someone was playing their songs! i think i'm yours by jason mraz is always a good song to play cuz for some reason people always wanna sing to it. i tried it the other day and it worked!

oh i disagree. yeah there are way more manufactured bands now who are just in it for commercial value but there are still so many groups of mates who make amazing music. it's unfair to look over them even if they are outnumbered now. it's so important - it definitely makes the music better. we should be praising them and giving them the support they need instead of lamenting the good old days. it may be true but it won't help.

Umm I'm not sure if you get into this kinda stuff but

Nirvana songs are fairly easy, and often sound complicated.

haha i wish i could play that many instruments. i just play lead guitar lol. but yea theres a big pond 'tween Georgia, U.S. and where ur at or i'd be on stage w ya haha. why dont u, instead of trying to join a band, start one. you sound like you dont really need anyone else to rock a gig. i've been trying to start one around here too, alt rock/heavy metal. i might have to get your oppinion on some of my stuff sometime.

i was in georgia on holiday last week!

the beatles never made their music digital as they wanted total control over copyright or something like that. that's why it's not available here, or on itunes or on spotify. you would have to buy the CDs and upload them onto your computer in order to get it there or on your ipod.
