You play cause you love it.  Don't let the nerves take that away from you.   You only have one life and it's yours to play in........  wink

Ditto!   Go bobwill!    Let us know how it goes.  Better yet, Kentucky is a neighbor to Ohio, invite those who can make it there..  That would be cool!

Gabby because a friend calls me that...Gabbysings2 because I was introduced to a group by this friend when he said..'Gabby sings too'.   Thus, gabbysings2.   It stuck.

Mekidsmom, I always liked Reba's Greatest Man I Ever Knew.   It's rather slow, but poignant.    Also, I just thought of Randy Travis's ..I Thought He Walked On Water.

Aw, that made me tear up.   I have a similar thing coming up for a friend's mom's memorial and it was a result of playing in her bedroom 4 days before she passed.  She asked if we would do her a favor.   Of course, we said yes.  Well, she asked if we would do a celebration of her life when the weather broke and we all agreed we would.  She requested no observance otherwise.   So now I'm practicing more vigilantly for a few requested songs.

I'm so sorry about your family's loss Wayne.  Hugs and prayers.

Most important, enjoy the moment and relax.  What they heard, they liked or you wouldn't have been called.   Stay excited too and have fun with it..

I continue to say prayers for you and your countrymen and women, Bushy.   My heart broke to see the devastation continually hitting you guys.

How cute is that.  You created some wonderful memories there.  Love it! And not bad performance either...  Good job!

I struggled with bar chords also myibanez.   Thought I was never going to make that position.  But I learned using an acoustic.... ouch!   But now that I learned, the electric is like butter.   I'm going to check out Marty Schwartz, because you can never learn enough.  Thanks for the tip.

Don't keep us in suspense.  Which verse is it?  It's the one about enough money to buy Miami, isn't it?

No, sir. It's the one about younger women, living with several wives. I don't like the part where he runs them off and they still come back.
I further dislike his comparing them with profanity. it's disrespectful.

Nice stand and kudos to you.
