Happy for you my friend! Just remember, if we don't see it on Chordie, it didn't happen.

Very nice Amy. How are you liking your guitar? I remember when you got it but I don't remember the model. The reason I'm asking is I just got me a 000-15m and it looks very much like yours. They both sound great.

Look here: http://www.martinguitar.com/martin-tuner
The tuner app is available for the Apple devices and Android devices. It's free and one of the better ones I've used. It even has an ear trainer which, if effective, could cost the tuner app its job!
Good luck,
dj
Evidently it is not an option for my Straight Talk phone but due to your posting I found one that is. Thanks to you I have a tuner when ever I have my phone. Thanks.

Don't forget to dust. It's embarrassing when company takes one down and it has a half inch of dust on it. I'm not used to this dual role portion of my life yet.

I sure hate to hear this. May God be merciful and block any potential pain in the way he did for my Dear wife. She went through a lot but pain was nearly nonexistent. Joey music and my musical friends have been and are a great help getting through tuff times. I have set here playing without singing with tears running down my cheeks but when I'm through I feel up lifted. I went to a jam session last night and it occupied my mind for a while. Your music can be a great tool for you in this battle. May God Bless you and yours in this difficult time. Al

Thank you all for the kind thoughts and prayers. She made it as easy as possible on the family. She had everything planned including the music, her outfit, pallbearers and such. Even the color of the casket. I just pray for a cure of this terrible disease.

In my case Fumblefingers was already in use so I went with deadstring. Seems I usually have at least one in every other chord or so.

Mr. Clampett (RIP) built a homade bass and had it strung with weed eater strings. Sounded pretty good.

Thank you edshaw. I have been doing a simpler version for years and it sounded ok but I like this progression much better. I need to go over some more of my favorites Maybe my playing and my ear have improved enough I can bring them up a notch.
