Try tuning down all the strings one step to DGCFAD to play "yesterday" by the Beatles in the key of G (actually F in the new tuning). Its sounds wonderful in the lower tuning - gorgeous bass run downs and so forth, and it's not too difficult. It's one of the nicest songs to play I've ever encountered. TAB is in here somewhere!

Hi,
With regard to "Father and Son" I read the strumming pattern from the song as down,skip,down,down,up,down - changing chords on the last "down" (hope this makes sense) , and that's basically it for the whole song apart from some filling in when going to the chorus . The original recording is pretty clear and easy enough to get the pattern from.
