i am learning by myself and i think im doing ok <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_rolleyes.gif" border=0 alt="Rolling Eyes">. I think the most important is having a lot of music to play and to improve by playing it. If you need someone to give you the music and play it through with you i suggest getting a teacher. However, ive noticed by learning other instruments with a teacher, you dont enjoy practising as much if it music you dont like or have never heard it before.

I reckon you should do whatever suits you. <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif" border=0 alt="Very Happy">  <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif" border=0 alt="Very Happy">  <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif" border=0 alt="Very Happy">

i have seen lots of solos where you need to bend notes. Ive been told that to bend to pull the string upwards while playing it. my problem is that i cant even bend one semitone (and in some solos you have to do 2!!). Is there something im doing wrong?

oasis"LIVE FOREVER" and "DONT LOOK BACK IN ANGER" are both quite easy.

Also, Pulp:"mis-shapes"

bob dylan:"blowing in the wind" and "how does it feel"

Most of these are in chordie

I'll be adding more easy songs to my public songbook <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_razz.gif" border=0 alt="Razz">   <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif" border=0 alt="Laughing">
