If the song is in a Songbook (which is the only time that you would want to delete a song)  you tick the box to left of the song name. Then click on the 'Delete' button ( top of the song list in the middle of the page) as shown in the photo in a earlier post. This will bring up 'DELETE SELECTED SONGS?' on the left of the page with a Cancel and an OK box on the right to terminate the procedure or delete the song.

I have just done this so it works for me.

"BRAINWAVE" - Just remembered that a while ago I had a problem with buttons on the right hand side of the screen not functional and I found that I had my browser window set at 125%, reducing back to 100% cured the problem, so maybe you are experiencing the same.

Jaybird, I have no idea what you are talking about. No where can I find any circles next to a song neither in the library or my songbooks, there are square boxes for 'View' 'Font; etc. but no circles so I cannot help without further information.

I changed the e-mail on the original account and sorted out the password so now this Member is able to access his original account and Songbooks under his original username.

Hi anrainiall,

You cannot transfer the songbooks from an account that you can no longer access. It may be possible for Per, the site owner and Administrator, to do something to help you. Please write an e-mail to him at admin@chordie.com explaining the situation and see if he can help. You will need to give all details, i.e. old username and e-mail address. Fingers crossed.

Hi Jandle,

Great to hear from you, I was concerned about your (and others) absence and planned to write you all in the new year. You have saved me writing one e-mail. smile
Sorry for your losses and troubles and hope that 2022 is the start of much better times for you.

EDIT to add:
I e-mailed the paper first thing this morning and they have now corrected the band name error in this on-line article, Well done to the Portugal News.

First try clearing your cookies as this can clear a number of anomalies. Also check that your screen resolution does not exceed 100% as that can also cause difficulties with controls at the side of the page.
Please report back when you have tried these.

You can also contact the host site to report it and often there is a contact for the original person that posted the song and you can advise them of errors.

The usual cause for this difficulty is cookies, so clear all cookies and then log in again. Please report back after you have tried this.

Take care,

P.S. There is only need to post a question once so I have deleted your four other identical posts.

That is strange as I have deleted with no problem. I will report his to Per.

Roger

Hi there and welcome to the Forum.

1/ Click on the box to the left of the song so a 'tick' appears.
2/ click on 'delete' box.

You have certainly had your hands full and sorry for the loss of your father but pleased that life is getting back to normal for you. Looking forward to hearing some songs from you.

I have no problem so it is your system causing this. Have you cleared your cookies as mentioned earlier as this is usually the cause of these issues?

Roger

Well done Brian, you got my vote.

The first thing to do is to clear your cookies as they can sometimes cause weird problems that no-one else is getting. Then try again but, if not successful, please give details of where you are ending up; to help, specifics are needed not vague comments.

Take care and stay safe,

Hi Chessjef,

This is usually a 'cookie' problem so try clearing your cookies and hopefully you should be OK. Please report back with the results.

Hi Kieth,

That has me beat as you appear to be doing everything OK to delete a song. I have dropped a line to our Web Master on your behalf to see if he can offer any suggestions.

And it is warm welcome from me too.

Enjoy the Forum and the help that other Members can give you. Never be afraid to ask questions thinking it might be silly as the only silly question is the one you do not ask lol We have all had to learn, some of us started a long time ago (with me it was 62 years ago) but there is always something new we can learn about music and playing guitar.
