Holy Moly you write a lot of songs Jody:D Well Done.
It's also good to see that you come to grips with Chordpro...Now it looks so purdy.
I'll get around to your other songs in time as I'm re-acquainting myself here.
Nice write
Cheers
Kenny
Hi Jeff
I hear ya when you say life keeps getting in the way of writing.
By the sounds of it you have some pretty good kin around you and more kin coming.
Nice write.
Looking forwards to the recording.
Kenny
Hi Cam,
Take comfort in the knowledge, that the obvious love for her made her passing dignified and a time not shared unfortunately by many .
My condolences.
Kenny
Nice link Wayne,
I've always liked Ronnie Cox's style. I can't remember the name of the TV show he was on but it was a newer version of the Waltons where he played his guitar every now and then.
Thanks for the link.
Kenny
Howdy Jody,
For a first time go around at recording I think you did pretty darn good.
Give yourself a two thumbs up and carry on to your next project.
Looking forwards to hearing more.
Kenny
You have done yourself proud my friend.
"She walks in my room with a smile of contentment.
Glad for this day, will there be many more?
I look in her eyes and I know why I love her.
As each day goes by, I love her some more.
Blue songs tonight, tonight.
Blue songs tonight, tonight.
Blue songs tonight."
Tenderly written and recorded. this song oozes how you felt for your Mom.
A big pat on the back for another premo job.
Kenny

Happy New Year Lena (better late than never )
If that is a picture with your home in the valley than you are indeed living in a slice of heaven. I can't imagine what it must be like waking up every day to that scenery.
Awesome
Kenny
Do the hills explain why you have a water problem?
True enough it is sometimes hard to decipher whether a comment is malicious or not.
I try to remember that PRETTY MUCH EVERYBODY on this board is friendly and they don't act like others on 99% of other boards.
It feels good to be in the 1%.
Thanks to the mods and Per for setting the guide lines.

Happy Belated Birthday MKM
By the sounds of it you had a deservedly super day.
Funny I thought you were 29 and holding.
Kenny
No sweat Topdown...Harvey and Tim together were the best.
Now it's off to watch the Canadian junior hockey team beat up on the Americans for Gold... I hope
Welcome Back Bill
Good to hear from you and looking forwards to hearing more from you.
You have the whole world listening right here if you have a story to tell.
Kudos to you for being up front.
Kenny
Two awesome bands with two different unique styles that no one will ever be able to duplicate as all they have in common is the sixties and unfortunately... we will never see that time again. You just can't compare the two.
I recently watched a documentary on how the Beatles affected communism in Russia. It was fascinating to watch and learn how the Russian youth from the sixties to today were and still are caught up in their music. I'm sure if there was a Beach Boys documentary you'd find the same.
Good call PapaTom
Good on ya Cam
Sounds like your wife's a keeper. Hope you get all you can get out of the lessons. Can't go wrong learning John Prine. When you get it down please post a youtube vid.
Good call Nela...I've never taken lessons but I can see a lot of folks letting the instructor dictate what and how he wants to teach.

Need a laugh?
Here's a few links to Harvey Korman and gang from the Carol Burnett Show. Nothing funnier than watching someone trying not to laugh on live TV.
Enjoy

Howdy Phill,
I listened to this song 3 times cause I liked it so much.
Each time I heard a little more harmonizing in the background that added to this very catchy and memorable song.
2 minutes 44 seconds of pure enjoyment.
Another keeper my friend.
Great vox but I loved the mix...Yer gettin Gooder...much Gooder.
Merry Christmas and the Very Best New Years.
Kenny
I guess that's why you call yourself eagleeye.
To bad there wasn't a way to track and bust these cons easier. There's way too many gullible people out there that don't ask the right questions.
Good Post
Kenny
