Hi christu
To get your songs to print with larger characters.
1 Go to the song you want to print.
2 On the panel to right of the song click on the "print" icon this opens another window with the song displayed with chord diagrams to the right of the song.
3 At the top there is a box with 3 different sized "A's" click on the largest one. (You can also change where you want the chord diagrams to appear on the sheet there.)
This will display the song in a larger type then press print. The print out is slightly smaller than what you see on the screen but is larger than normal.
I just printed one out it's bigger but the song now prints out on 2 sheets.
Hope this helps.

End of the world?
No what's mean't is the end of mankind the world will be still spinning in space for a few billion years yet with or without mankind.
All religions have their dates for the "End of the world" and how it's going to happen and up to now plainly all have been wrong...
I guess if they keep banging away with dates and so called events then one may just be right and they will be probally the most shocked...

Hi Marlon
1st question this is what works for me If you have a song you want to add to a particular songbook it does'nt have to be the default "Songbook"
In the "Songbook add" section next to the song there is an option to change the book to whatever one you want the song to go as long as there's less than 100 songs in the book.
This should work if doesn't then I'm not sure why.
As said there seems to be a limit of 100 songs.
I'm not sure why you can't move song around your books when they are not full.
I'm afraid the edit option seems to be out for the forseeable future though it maybe reinstated it's up to the creator of the site. Ther best option is to edit outside as you said yourself with chopro etc.
There's no FAQ which shed light on the copyright issues. It just a pain the proverial which we all have to live with.....

Hi Bob
You can't easily link but you can become a friend of "friends of Chordie"
You can add a link in the website section in the "General Section" or using html code in the "bio" section but it's not straight forwards to do so.
hope this helps

Hi austin marlon
I don't think you change the default "My Songbook" for one of a diiferent title one you've added with name you created. You can change the name if you want but but book can't be deleted and remains the default book. I'm not sure why you want to as all the songs can be moved around to whatever Songbook you want.
Not sure what your asking with the 2nd question sorry.

Hi Phill
I really liked the original piano version saying that I would be hard pressed to say which one I liked the best both are good in their own way.
I liked the simplicity of the piano and vocals of the 1st recording. You've done a good job with the 2nd one the guitar giving this one a folksy feel to the song.
well done.
Tony

Well done Bob 400 that's no mean achievement.
Looking forward to the next 400  smile

Hi evsynator
Some songs have become unavailable to view because of copyright problems the Beatles being the most missed by members. Others have been put off limits to because of the same reasons it's a shame but if Chordie was to keep going this had to be done.
I have no problems accessing my songs in my songbooks or looking up the songs that are available to view.
Chordie goes slow at times and goes down ocasionally but so does most sites on the web I guess you've been unlucky.
There's no exact problem to this......
As Chordie is a free site we are all free to go elsewhere.

Hi vespa
Welcome to Chordie.
If you mean by original that the song doesn't already belong to an artist and is written by the person who is posting the Lyrics and chords then ok.
If the the potenial song has only lyrics but no chords then please use the poem forum.

If the song is in french there's no problem but it might have limited appeal in an English speaking forum.

Well they did in 2006 though they came from Finland and won...

Personally I thought it was one of the better winners. (Finland does love it's Death Metal) Political voting went out of the window that year. I guess the voters from other countries bemused thought we were being invaded so went on the side of caution and voted for the Klingons..  lol

The name Eurovision makes me laugh as now it has 43 countries competing many of which are not in Europe. Political voting has been the norm for many years getting to point of being absolutely blatant when the countries of the former USSR took part.
It's old left over from the sixties when perhaps the song actually did mean something.
A song contest it is not but a sort of tongue in cheek crass media hype devoid of any true musical value.
I guess the only thing that's kept it going over the years is the money tied up with the sale of the artist and the banal songs..

Millions watch it and buy the winning song So Who am I.....................

Hi mikeguitar
Go to the songbook you want to delete at the bottom of  the page you will see tab which says "select all" hit it and ticks will appear in all the boxes next to the songs. Then hit the "delete" button this will delete all the songs from the book. Then you will be able to delete the songbook itself. I just tried it and it worked for me.

Hi blackwolf27
As this is just lyrics without a chord a structure as yet I have moved the post to poems section.
The "sticky at the top of the Songwriting section gives the reasons as to why this was done.
Nice set of lyrics has potential.

Just live together under a contract I think she's 50 0dd so there shouldn't be any kids. Unless they go for chemical help  smile
Maybe the spammers on chordie can help with that..

Hi Phill
I like this one nice mix of keyboard and guitars. I like the refrain from the keboard with minors setting up the mood of the piece.
Well done sounds like your back in business again.
The only thing Myspace makes it difficult to find your new song as it puts it at the bottom of the playing order. I think soundclick seems a better option at the moment as you can link straight to the song.
Just a thought
anyway great stuff!

Hi phill
Glad you got your PC running again. Maybe get a few tunes from your goodself  smile
Myspace is a pain in the proverbial even when the PC running ok. You can't now seem to change the order of the songs that have been uploaded the new one just stays at the bottom of the pile.....
Had some nice feedback with this song from the family etc well they didn't go off into a thousand mile stare while listening which is aways a good sign.
So I think give Ourstage a bash with it this coming month.

Want fast unsupported acoustic guitar then you go along way to beat Tommy Emmanuel's "The Hunt" this old guy don't need a backing band..
