I'm jealous!  In fact I'm so jealous that I'm thinking of getting divorced and selling the house in order to buy a good new guitar!

Enjoy!

Hi TP,

Try "I Will Wait For You"

Barbara Dickson sang it but it doesn't appear to be indexed on Chordie.  Another link in the chain of discovery though

To follow on from Last Rebels songs about eyes, what is the best lyric to describe how beautiful somebody is?

Can anybody beat "The swan was in her movement and the morning in her smile" cos I think that's pretty darn good!

I would definitely agree with Zurf - aim it yourself!  I found that strumming and singing along gives a natural pattern in that the rhythm comes naturally and if it don't sound exactly like the original, it's probably close enough for government work!

Don't give up and remember - enjoy!

about that opera... nope, not tipsy any more!

Did you know that scientists have discovered a food that removes the sex drive?  It's called "wedding cake"  cool

I'm off to Nashville now, guitar in hand - probably should learn to play those fancy chords first though, didn't realise there were so many!

I'd love to see/hear the American Man song, I bet it kicks my paltry offering into touch!

Summer of '69, I have the 'Reckless' Album but never listen to it any more.  Perhaps I should as it does sound great after all this time!

To much wine... yes!

Why on earth would I want to sing like Bryan Adams?

As for the melody, close your eyes, take a deep breath, let it out and listen for the wail of the banshee in the lonely peat bog!

Just kidding, the melody was pretty much as the chords were written as I'm not too confident, creative or musical enough to be flashy

bonedaddy

hey, Geoffkey I like all of the above and can't play 'em for squat... where you from cos u don't give much away!  Are you local?

hehe

Didn't my Lord deliver Daniel when Googled brings up a host of links but no chords - it's mainly sheet music arranged for voices rather than guitar chords sad

sorry

Aye, well done Springboks and you are right about the cheating South Americans too, don't talk to me about Maradona lol

I'm guessing that it's a problem of money and logistics.  Continental USA is so large that for a band to 'break' over there, they would need to tour constantly for years or to do a series of Stadium concerts with huge audiences.  Nobody is willing to hire a stadium for a band never before heard and I guess bands don't want to let their home audience forget them so they can't spend too long away from Europe.
