Thanks TF, I never heard that before. I saw Jethro Tull some years ago at a local rock and blues fest. Halfway through the set everything just died, someone forgot to refuel the generators.

As someone who's as thick as two short planks, none of the above makes any sense to me, but as their's a lot of smiley faces I guess it must be fun. The bloke stood at the counter with his wife & girlfriend. Now that's living dangerous.

I must have a couple of hundred. I tend to play the same half dozen and stick the rest in a drawer. Every now and again have a bit of a change round depending on the mood at the time.
On a similar note. I put a load of vinyl on the laptop. Most of it from my own collection, some I borrowed. About a week ago the laptop fell I'll with some sort of bug. Put it into system restore. The bugs gone, but so have the albums.

Great lyrics and a nice easy tune to play.
Thanks for posting.

Just brilliant TIG. I have to agree with Bill, that line is an absolute classic.
Great stuff.

Ok, so I don't think I have G A S, or U A S. But when I count all the strings on my 12 string, 3, 6 strings, bazouki, and uke I have 42 strings to play with. Is their such a condition as S A S. ?

Been here a couple of times myself NELA, sometimes life seems like a never ending nightmare.
I know you're a strong man NELA, and I know you'll get through this rough patch. Meanwhile, I'm sure I speak for everyone on Chordie when I say your in our thoughts.

Thank you Doug_Smith for your link to infoplease.com. Someone on another forum asked me, what's the difference between the UK & GB. (The person asking the question is in the US of A). It was only because I'd read your link I knew the answer. I only lived here 62 years so still regarded as a newbie.

Not so much a tear in my eye, but sometimes in the pub Sunday afternoon someone will pass a guitar round. I get a lump in my throat and the voice gets a little wobbly playing Puff the Magic Dragon.

The missus insists I take Viagra every night. It's not that she has any intentions, it just stops me rolling out of bed.

Well, it's very early hours Friday morning here, just about bedtime me thinks. Bill / Dondra I look forward to hearing some more positive news later. G'night from me.

Bill I'm sure you must both be very tired,  try to get some rest. At least Dondra will be sleeping in her own bed, that must be a relief. Take care both of you

TIG. I just happened to be stood by my guitar when I read your post. Played it through, I think its really fitting for Bill & Dondra. Perhaps we should also spare a thought for NELA and his good lady.

Wishing Dondra and yourself the best of luck today Bill, you deserve some.

Great song Phill with a good rocking beat and awsome guitar riff. I think the keyboard player looks a little young but very photogenic. Not like when I tapped the screen to play it again and Time to Start Again came up with some bloke mooning at me. A great song Phill, you must be well pleased with it.

Bill, I was going to ask why you have a cat named Bert who wears bras and pants, but I think this probably isn't  the correct site for this type of conversation.
Seriously Bill, my thoughts are with Dondra Jason and yourself.

Well it sounds like good news, everything's working, nothing blocked. Just take things easy NELA, but somehow I just dont think thats your style.

The lyrics remind me of an old 60s comedy band. The Baron Knights

Hi Jan, welcome to Chordie. I've had a uke since last Christmas,  never played a note on it yet, now's my chance. Thanks for the post.
