I use evernote for the very same reason - instantly available on all devices. plus you can tag and categorize songs (artist, genre, decade, etc) to instantly filter and create dynamic set lists.

Or just refresh your browser

The below is my personal opinion and doesn't reflect that of the website.

It's not THAT you ask, ZG, it's HOW you ask. This website is made up of all volunteer moderators and is a community. The site owner isn't exactly turning into Steve Jobs due to Chordie bankroll; consider this more like a passion project for all of us.

So when your requests insult the site and site management as "ridiculous," or when you only come here to complain, or when you imply that we are personally insulting you...yeah, you may expect such invectives to be met with deaf ears.

Easy does it.

OHHHHHH OUR DUET. I remember very little other than fun, drinks, good company, and drinks.

Oh and dinner.  That was good too.

Oh it was? I don't remember that.  Too much going on in my life right now lol.

In that case I retract Amie Amy.  And instead I humbly request Guitar Man.

I'm wrapping up learning both.

I am in love with this song. The lyrics are fantastic. Found it by accident while Spotifying today. Should be added to lists of "two chord songs."

My brother and I used to play video games with the stipulation that the winner of the current game (or series if we were playing saga hockey) got to pick the music for the next game. My brother ALWAYS chose JGeils band.  sad

Have had one for years.  Works great and sounds better than you'd expect. There are two disadvantages:
1- no on board eq. However I find it sounds fine as is and can be dialed in on board or with a pedal
2 - if you pinkie anchor you might hit it so a hand position adjustment might be necessary

Phil, love it. Very roots rock and Americana, if youll pardon the expression.

I would love to hear some B3 or maybe even accordion on the choruses...like Counting Crows style.

70s - Amie by Pure Prairie League.
90s - Rain King by Counting Crows.

Thanks to both of you.

Voice didn't hold out for WYWH, maybe next time. sad On to April!

that's mighty pretty.

Here's my try at Blame it on the Rain. I am sick and losing my voice, don't know if I'm going to be able to do the Floyd tune before my throat heals. But I'm darn sure going to try.

As others have noted, the song is viewed by many as less than spectacular, so I re-wrote it. Hope you enjoy.

Listening to the first one now. I'm quite impressed by the arrangement and production and assume you folks did this all remote. Did you just each record tracks, send them around to one another and assemble the piece that way? How'd you do this? Also can you give us a list of credits? Who is singing, playing guitar, etc., on each? Who tracked the drums?

As you can tell I'm very interested in finding out more about how you so successfully got this all done. smile
