Just had a listen to White Sand, that was great Amy. I can taste a fruity drink and feel the white sand between my toes!

Well look at it another way, if ya don't file and pay they put ya in jail - free room and board, free healthcare, free legal representation, three square meals per day, free use of the exercise room - all paid for by those of us who do file and pay. anybody see a down side?

Hey Joe, it always seemed to rain on opening day for trout. I miss fishing on the Susquehanna river, catching bass and walleye while watching eagles fly overhead. I fished from three mile island to the Chesapeake bay. I just might have to make a trip to Pa. just to go fishin!

Welcome to Chordie.  A lot of us dusted off a geetar we had stuffed in a closet and started playing again. I grew up in Pa. (lived in York for 55 years). There are lot of great people here and all are willing to share their wit and wisdom. Hope ya stick around and join in on the forums.

I used to fish a lot, back when ya kept a couple for the frying pan and released the rest. Now there are to many rules and regulations to remember and it just aint like it used to be, so now I just sit in the boat and pick geetar.

Back problems are not fun! I had to retire last year due to my lower back problems. The doctor visits and MRI's have about worn me out. We've found herniated discs, degenerative disc disease and arthritis. I'm using pain meds, electrotherapy and stretching exercises as well as easy level terrain walking to control the pain. I also use an inversion table and was surprised to find this helps although its a strange feeling hanging upside down (my wife calls me batman). There other non-surgical treatments to try such as acupucture, braces, steroid injection and chiropractic manipulation. For me the most permanent solution will be surgery, I'm not looking forward to it and will try plan it for next winter. I hope your back problems are manageable and you can find a solution. The up side for me is, now I have more time to play guitar.

Glad your back Nela. I would be lost if I couldn't have my daily Chordie fix. Whenever I have computer problems I have to call my daughter for help. I'm a total goober when it comes to modern technology, I live by the bigger hammer theory, "if at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer". My wife thinks its funny that whenever I get on the computer the first thing I do is log into Chordie.

Amy put a sticky with a capo conversion chart in the acoustic section. Maybe that will help you. Oh and by the way Amy, thanks for posting it as a sticky, I use it a lot and its easy to find.
