Thanks Dino - I already grabbed the ones I found here on chordie so don't go through to much trouble. I was thinking some of the past attendees might have some I haven't seen yet.

Hey chordiestock folks - I've had one of them fancy digital photo frames in my closet for about 4 or 5 years now - never had the motivation to load up any pics. I thought it might be cool to load it up with photos from the previous chordiestocks and have them scrolling for this years festivities.  I snagged all the pics I could find from chordie and facebook, but if any of you previous attendees have photos available, please email them to me or send me a link if they are posted somewhere on the net. THANKS!

Looks like fun! Especially the gals!

So far we have 8 or 9 chordians confirmed representing 5 US states and 2 other countries. Plus the 8 or 10 local musician friends that are gonna join in. We have several guitar players, a handful of bassists, some killer vocalists and a drummer or 3. This is looking to be the best chordiestock yet! Tents in the backyard are welcome! Make your plans and get on down to chordiestock III in March!

Thanks everyone - this is my first electric and I am having a ton of fun just toying with the various knobs and pickup settings. The amp is incredibly clean as well. I'm not a shredder by any means, but this thing sounds great in its acoustic settings as well. I've got a lot to learn and that just adds to the fun!

Santa came early to topdown's house. My first electric guitar and a kick a$$ orange amp. Now I gotta learn some of those scale things I hear jerome, russell and BGD talking about.

The guitar is a made in America Fender strat with Roland electronics built in - adds a bunch of versatility with various tones and tunings that can be changed by a selector knob.

BS - I don't want facebook monitoring any of my posts / messages. Its a right of privacy. I am also certain that the NSA (and Britain's equivalent) have the means to monitor EVERY SINGLE message or post sent over the web.

Awesome Ken! You are more than welcome to crash here, but you may be on the floor - or in a tent outside. From what I know about you, that shouldn't bother you a bit! I believe Robert will have space as well.

OK - we are about 4 months away. So far we have Zurf, beamer, normtheguitar, topdawgz, and wlbaye as return guests, jets60 is the only committed newbie. Hopefully Dirty Ed will return as well. Come on folks, book this trip! It is a great time, I assure you! Topdawgz said he's gonna book a condo nearby and will have space to share. I figure I can put up 3 easily (with beds) - up to 5 if you don't mind camping on the floor.

Make your plans - book this trip!

I enjoy drinking. Beer, wine, vodka, rum, tequila, whiskey, bourbon - pretty much anything besides scotch and gin. I enjoy it in all forms, straight up, on the rocks, mixed properly with various fruits juices and sodas - there is always a new drink to be explored.

I also enjoy the ladies - tall ones, short ones, skinny ones, chunky ones, pretty much all shapes, sizes and nationalities. As long as they have a great smile and like to have a good time, I'm in.

I enjoy cooking - especially for a Lady and with some nice cocktails.

I enjoy fishing - but really catching fish is secondary to enjoying the sun and some cold beers.

I enjoy playing golf - but that's really just an excuse to drink and smoke cigars while beating a ball around while enjoying the outdoors.

I like classic muscle cars and cruising around with the top down - but that's really just a method to pick up chicks.

I love the beach - enjoying a cocktail at sunset and checking out the lades in bikinis  - I really like that.

Don't let you babies grow up like topdown's!

Hey Cam - Nice to hear from ya, been a while! Those are some awesome birdhouses! If I were still in NC, I'd have to pick one up. My wife would love them.

I lost my Grandmother, Mother and Son to Cancer all in about a 2 year period. Chris was initially given a year to live, but he gave us 7. This man and his speeches were an inspiration during many trying times. Jimmy start at about 13:45 of the video if you want to skip right to the meat. This was before his famous ESPY Speech. Very cool nao - I bought a keyboard recently with the intention of learning some music theory. Highly recommended - some of the foreign terms the theory nerds smile talk about are all of a sudden clicking. This page seems very useful as well - it will certainly speed my studies!

What Zurf said!! I would however appreciate it if it were called something else - chordiefest perhaps? Chordiestock (TM) only occurs in Florida! smile

Seriously - I wish you luck in puling it together - I have been fortunate to meet several chordians over the years and every single time it has been a blast! I would love to attend an event on your side of the pond someday!
