I mean singers who are able to raise all your hair.
The first name that STRUCK me was
1) KATE BUSH with WUTHERING HEIGHTS
2) Please don't shoot me but what about NEIL YOUNG, some songs are great for his voice but a lot aren't.
3) BOB DYLAN
And the big problem is that 2 & 3 are one of my most beloved. Like Bob Dylan, that horrible nasal sound with symptoms of a bronchitis.
4) YOKO ONO (I call her always Choko Bono) it is already more than a crime being one of the major players in the split of THE BEATLES.
5) MICHAEL BOLTON
6) ME, GITAARDOCPHIL.
7) PARIS HILTON (I hesitated to put her on 6, but I changed my mind)
8) JAMES BLUNT, in the beginning I really loved his song "you're beautiful" but 10 "listen to that song" later, it is a perfect song to torture people.

Got me a brandnew car, to work again, I was so scared to ster in it and drive
I had to stop, too much suffering, no more samba's, tango's rock and jive.

I grew up so quick in a love caring family
a brother here a sister there, in fact a little army

Tell me more about the amps you use, and why.
This is very difficult, but WHICH ARE THE BEST AMPS?
I have 4 amps.
1) MARSHALL VALVESTATE 100W, a really good amp. This amp has only 1 problem, "the on and off" switch. I have to use a piece of paper because if I don't that switch comes back in "out" position. Also this amp is most used in combination with floorboards or effect devices.

2)  FENDER CYBERTWIN: this amp utilizes both analog and digital components to instantly become over 120 of the world’s most sought after classic and modern classic amplifiers tones. EVERY WORD IS TRUE. I compared it with at least 5 different Fender Amps, like the TWIN REVERB, BASSMAN, THE LUXE REVERB, TWIN AMP and a lot more, and you can't hear the.
PREAMP = tubes. It is an hybrid amp: tubes + electronics.   
In fact this amp has it all.
There seems to be a difference with the CYBER AMP SE, the second model of that cyber amp.
I have the first version, and reading comments or listening to sales men in a store, they all tell the same: THE 1st model sold like a train, but the second model seems to be a catastrophe. Why? I really don't know.
3) MARSHALL AS100D: The ACOUSTIC Marshall amp. This is the amp I used more then any other amp, because the sound is really great. Of course it is not because it is an acoustic amp that you can't play electric. Without using 1 effect, it shows you 100% how good your guitar is. CRYSTAL CLEAR, EASY TO USE what can you ask more?
Sometimes I use my little pandora's providing me a rhythm section, and if needed effects.

So this about my amps. I would love to hear the amps you use, and if possible why. A reason can be because it is very cheap and provides me enough noise.

Still today I don't know the answer on these questions.
Some people go for Gibson, others for Fender, PRS....others go for epiphone, MIM Fenders (Made In Mexico)..
A very good and skilled player can play with great results on cheap guitars.
THE PLAYER IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A GUITAR.
CONCLUSION:
MY SUGGESTIONS =  VISIT A FEW ON LINE MUSIC STORES. Like:

For the same guitars but in EUROPE visit www.musikstore.de or www.thomann.de ( In €). A 500€ guitar here will cost today 680$ A very interesting fact because of the high EURO.
For a 7000$ guitar an European will pay 5000$. For that difference you can go to the USA = a nice holiday + a guitar.
1) What is your budget? A lot of people buy the "so called" cheaper brands with a price tag from 150$ --> 600$. and you will have some possibilities.
- compare for example some epiphones.
- REAF THE USER COMMENTS, the most interesting part for me. If you read comments on a guitar, the better the comment, the better guitar.
2) If you really have found that particular guitar you like: my advise is: go to youtube which provides you already some more information based on some more options, like hearing the sound.
3) This is the "more difficult part": you want to have in your hands and play on it. Following the instructions I wrote, and you having a idea about a few brands, you will be able to "test" the guitar for real. You don't have to buy it in that store and buy it later on EBAY.
I did some great business on ebay, 100% perfect concerning transport and pay them .
About acoustics: 75% was perfect, but the remaining 25%....? Bad shape and most caused by the tension of the strings. Having a fantastic luthier (but slower then a snail) he fixes everything

IT IS ABOUT A PROGRAM SOME OF YOU MIGHT KNOW IT: DRAWMUSIC CHORDSONG.
Before buying a license (39$) I wanted to know if some of you know or use this program.

You download the program, you see chords, like A D Em G but you can add A7 or B# and you click on the chords you want. In the demo version you can listen maybe 15 seconds to the chord sequence you have made, click on play, and there it is: a mini song.
Using the chords you know or the sequence, you can have a nice melody.
It is probably not a program to create a song, but using your guitar and playing along you can make very nice tunes
WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THIS PROGRAM?
I would really appreciate your answers: is it useful to improve your "songwriter's" skills, or is it again one of the hundred programs that you find on line without improving your "songwriting skills"
As fas as I could listen, you can make 1000ds of combinations, and I must admit I like it.
ARE THERE BETTER PROGRAMS?

What are the most important rules to play songs on the streets?
- a good place probably, but do you need to pay for a place.
- what songs are always considered as "must play"? I go for
- BOB DYLAN
- BEATLES
- SOME NEIL YOUNG SONGS
- SOME ROLLING STONES SONGS, the older ones: ballads, and "Angie"
Or are there other suggestions?

It must be nice when the weather is nice, but horrible when it is a cold and rainy day.
A busker is for me a great player, playing songs, and watching all people passing by without getting money, so IN THIS PARTICULAR CASE what is the problem?
- Wrong place
- Bad playing
- bad songs

This is a band playing songs written by the Beatles, and in METALLICA style.
Another "band" with Monty Python and the bonzo dog doo- dah band are THE  RUTLES.
You can "fool" a lot of people playing the album. There is NO DIFFERENCE (OR ALMOST NOT) because the songs could be written by the Beatles.
I will look if I find other names of bands who
- are coverbands
- are tribute bands

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COVER BANDS and TRIBUTE BANDS?

A few days ago I discovered a band named BEATALLICA.
You find that band on youtube. They play "BEATLES SONGS" in METALLICA style.
I really want you to look.
