Hi Snowden,

I am with the others - waiting for chords. No pressure, but please don't keep us waiting too long.

Hi Jeff,

A lot can change in ten years as I found out just before I came to Portugal and went to visit old friends to say good bye.  Your song just sums it up. Good lyrics and chord sequence.

Thank you,

Roger

Hi Jean F

Welcome to Chordie. If you go to the Artist index and look up Silverchair You will find two versions of this song, one with tabs and lyrics and the other with tabs and some chords. If you know the song you may be able to work it out from that.

I hopw that helps,

Roger

Hi Jeff,

Lovely song but I must let you into a little secret I was just getting to the end of the second verse and then remembered it was a 'go to sleep lullaby'. Ooops! I was giving it a real thrash, enough to keep the dead awake. Start again, nice and easy slow fingerpicking this time, and it works real well. Mind you my first version might suit young Yoshinori better lol

Thank you,

Roger

Hi Rastaman,

Good song that I enjoyed playing but I have two questions. Should the chords on the third to last line be Am D? And what the heck does 'Woot' mean?

Great song to play and you really should record it if you can. Well done.

Thank you,

Roger

Great song Dan,

Nice chord progression and lovely lyrics. Me being me I added a little when I played it , I put a G between the end C of one verse and the start C of the next and a C7 before the F of the chorus as it suited my way of playing.

A good one to record so I am with Daddycool on that score. Well done.

Thank you,

Roger

I was having the same problem and I changed my printer settings and used a different driver to fix it. I think you will find that the problem is within your system and not in Chordie.

Thank you Ken,

After your success I rechecked my system, changed my printer settings and now it prints just fine, chords and all.

Thanks again,

Roger

Hi Jeff,

Great to have you back and I hope you enjoyed your holiday. Lovely song this and a good choice of a minor key to make it both whistful and enchanting.

I think the best title for this can only be "MICHIYO"

Thank you,

Roger

Hi Golder,

Go to Resources and click on A Large Chord Chart and there they are. Clicking on an individual chord will give you the different variations of playing that particular chord.

Hope that helps,

Roger

The ability to print the chopro formatted original songs from the Songwriting section is brilliant, however although there is a tag to print the chord grids on the right, at the end or not at all, I cannot get them to print at all. Is this a bug, is anyone else having the same problem?

Many Happy Returns to James who is, I believe, 21 today (well, 21 with 30 years experience). I have some excellent single malt in the cupboard and I will be raising a glass this evening and toasting very good friend who I would one day like to meet.

Have a great day.

I too come to Chordie with my guitar on my lap and unfortunately there is often a cat there as well. I does not make typing any too easy, I spend ages correcting and re-reading before I dare post a message.

Hi James,

If you could plug your microphone into your imagination that really would be cybermusic but as that is not possible I would say you have done a wonderfully grand job using your instrument and voice. Well done,

Thank you Rhiannon and James,

Rhiannon, my pretend grandaughter, you are far too young to know of such things and have too vivid an imagination. 'Pink fuffy handcuffs' indeed, are you sure you are not related to Upyerkilt Ken? lol  T.T and Henry say "Purr".

James I may well make another slideshow and put this on YouTube too, I certainly have enough photos, and as you say the two will go well together. "What a Friend We Have in Kitty" is certainly still on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INIhGiU_SE8 and incidentally it is the very first song I recorded and put on the Internet.

Hello Twist,

Welcome to Chordie. Any guitar will sound different when someone else plays it so why not record yourself playing it and then listen to your recording. Not only do you hear it as others do it does give you the chance to analyse your playing and look for improvements you might make. You may just be surprised how good you sound too.

Just a thought,

Roger

Hi James,

Your house sounds like a grand place to be, NOT a house but a HOME.

Good song, great to play. Thank you,

Roger
