I was going to post my meatloaf recipe, but then I got hit with a major bout of "MEH".   In other words I feel like crap and my apathy is running high.  Hopefully, it will pass soon and I will get back here.

Peace and music and guitars to you all.

Steve's spanish rice and pork (chicken) rice dish.

1 package of Near East Spanish rice pilaf.

1 1/2-2 pounds of Pork tenderloin (or chicken) sliced into small pieces.

After the rice pilaf mix begins to boil, add meat and simmer until almost all the excess water boils away.

Tomorrow I will post Steve's MEATY meat loaf recipe.  For people who want MEAT LOAF, instead of meat tasting bread!

I learned a lot of barre chords lately.....................somehow that just doesn't sound silly.

The bottom line is, that it's all about muscle memory.  As a past teacher of mime, once told me, "Do it a hundred times and you know it, do it a thousand times, and it's YOURS,"

I can now switch from G chord to A, D, Am, E, Em, D7, etc, etc, etc.  Now, I'm working on Bm to F#m, G#m, etc, for muscle memory.

In other words, practice, practice, practice................makes perfect!

Definitely NO that is private between me and the person concerned. Rest assured if you, or anyone else for that matter, had done anything that was inappropriate you would be the first to know. As far as I am concerned, publically if it was a serious offence or considered to be done with intent or privately if it was something silly and out of character, as this was.

I have made my apology for my mistake and I have explained as much as is necessary without causing embarrassement to anyone.

This matter is now closed.

Roger

My teacher made me do a bunch of barre chords.  due to some some tunes I lust to learn about, Bm to F#m, and after it was over..................it dawned upon me the shortcuts and whatever.

I have a great teacher......http://www.sethausten.com/

I apologize if anything I posted was inappropriate.

guys... i am very sorry that i did that. Now that i look back on it, that was very stupid!  sincere apologies!

Ben

I'm not sure that you or I did anything wrong.  WHAT I want from admin. is specifics as to what WAS wrong.   Seriously, this is a frivolous and stress relieving thread, I AM NOT out to pad my post count.  I want to post jokes and stuff to make people laugh.......let me know if I AM WRONG!

This is just my opinion, but I think it helps to have a thread of silliness and assorted tomfoolery.  Of course that's with the understanding that there is enough room or bandwidth to allow it.  So in the words of the great sage, Marx, Groucho not Karl, "Hello, I must be going."

And now for something completely different.

I'm thinking on buying a good ukulele, just to practice a bit on when I travel and there is no room for the guitar.

Hey Ozymandias,
That was great, I sure do like me a good mess o blues, the lead guitarist wasn't half bad either, great job of finding that Topdown!

Cam

Indeed, some genuine kick A** blues has a way of making oneself feel good.  Yeah, the guitarist was in the zone.  When you can play with the big dogs of the blues, you have got to have some serious skill.

And on further exploration of the internet, that was NOT Koko Taylor's best rendition of the tune.  She was clearly aging in that clip, but, if you go to another link by googling, you'll get the raw, driving blues that will have you howling for more!

Found the CD that has it and will seek and add it to my collection.  Apparently, like AC/DC's lyrics to "Highway to Hell", "Mother Nature" lyrics and chords are not easily accessible for copyright reasons.   But, thats why I take lessons, to figure it out for m'self.

Thanks
