I didn't want to derail the other topic.
I found that little darlin  in a gift shop at Lake Degray State Park in Arkansas. Let me know if you have trouble finding one. I'll probably be up that way again before summer's end. They are really handy for loose change and I try to keep at least 2 picks in there. If you save all the lint that builds up in it you could knit a pair of socks. A friend, AL

Well my jaw hit the floor last night! A man stuck a check in my pocket and said take care of that.He does it a lot because I belong to a ministry that distributes Bibles and he often donates to this cause. I didn't even look at the check until I got home. It was made out to me for $XXX. I called and asked what was going on and he said he couldn't sing but he wanted to support me in my nursing home ministry so he wanted me to have some gas money for the next 12 months.
Who said we don't come in contact with Angels unawares?

Heres one for you.I came up with the genius idea of letting Gabby Trout drive my pickup in the backyard this morning. After showing her the brake and gas she went forward no problem. When she went to back it up,there was the problem.Instead of hitting the brake she floored it.She didnt get hurt but I hurt my wrist when the truck door hit me.A bunch of bushes stopped the truck or else my neighbor would have no shed or car.Now I have a few people mad at me.A hurt wrist(I cant play for a few days).I know, it was all my fault.Im laughing now,I was then. Now my daughter has sworn off driving until she is 16.Do I get the idiot  of the day award for this? It seemed like a good idea at the time

Now my daughter has sworn off driving until she is 16. I think you planned this! (Joking)

Have great week end and by all means be proud.

I like the way CHORDIE members react after asking for help or information. I have been involved with camping forums and such where one would ask a question and several members would go to great lengths to post pictures or video in an effort to help and you would never hear from the original poster on the subject again. I think that is so rude. Not the case here and I thank each of you for the family feeling we have here. I appreciate the replies when someone puts out the effort.
A good weekend to all.

Here you go!! Video

Welcome Gabby. Enjoy the site.

A $300 guitar has a lot more in it than I can get out of it so I have no need for expensive ones.

I couldn't find a SNARK either but found this. It swivels and folds down. You can leave it attached and still close your case. Just another variation of a great idea.

Great! The private stuff is taken care of and I don't recall any public posts from any one on "CHORDIE" that would be a problem. I am just glad that we have youngens interested in music.

Joey,
I would think (not sure) that you could set her up a profile but use your email address so that any private communications would come to you. Sounds harsh but tell her it's that way or no way.

The end of this life is not my concern. I just would like to know if there are guitars in Heaven and will I get to have a Yamaha like mine or will I have to settle for a Martin, Gibson or Taylor? wink  wink   tongue  tongue

The Rapture has to happen before the world comes to an end. It's coming but The Bible plainly says even the Angels in Heaven don't know exactly when. I'm ready but I ain't sitting down and waiting on it.  What denomination preacher are we speaking of?

Excuse me but I see no rudeness in arkady's reply. If you will start from the get go you will realize you are the one who originated the idea of looking else where.
Stick around. With all the floods, earthquakes and other disasters going on how bad can it be to wait on a songbook occasionally?
