"You can shoot me but I ain't got time to bleed", I like that line, would love to hear you play this in your style. I've got several ex's that said I was worthless, and they were right!

Welcome to Chordie . When I need to find an unknown chord I go to chorderator.com. It shows a lot of different ways to play a chord and a way to listen what that chord sounds like.

Oh no unclejoe, not the dreaded fbi!  Do you think the cia and the mayor will come knocking on your door?

If I could find "A black hole deep in space", I'd stop by just to play that Douglas for a few minutes (its been on my GAS list since you first got it)

Very creative birdhouses, I see some projects in my future. I've got lots of old roofing tin and scrap lumber from old barns that might be of use. I always had a ton of fun building small boats and canoes, but these bird houses will give me something to do during the cold winter months. I'm going to make sure my wife takes a look at your facebook link, she will absolutely love it.

Its been a while since my last addition also. Guess I'm happily satisfied where I am, although I have been dreaming of a double neck electric guitar in a 12 string/6 string configuration.

Oh man Nela, I'm so sorry. Thats gotta be a heavy load to carry.

Yea, I know how you feel Nela, kind of in the same boat myself. I've got all these things I planned on doing when I retired and now my back is too bad to do anything. I've always done things by myself and aint used to asking for help, makes me feel useless. Like you, I've got all this wood that needs cut, split and stacked, so I ended up buying an electric chainsaw, its lighter and easier to use but still I have to keep in mind to put a limit on the physical activity. I'm learning to do just a little bit of work at a time and taking lots of rest breaks. Think I'll take a break and play a little guitar now.

Its all about the fun for me, I couldn't carry a tune if it had handles, I have no delusions about my singing voice. The only way I can hit a high note is to drop a brick on my toes.

Free range chickens are a fact of life up here on the mountain, they lay eggs in the flower garden so I get the added benifit of free breakfast. When I go for walks they will follow along and eat things I stir up as I walk. Once in a while someones goats, cattle or horses gets out and does a little free ranging too. I used to have a piece of furniture on the front porch that was decorated with plastic vines and the goats ate all the leaves off it, they eat just about anything.

I noticed some odd script in the upper left corner of the Chordie home page this morning, looks like this, "";?>  All the songs in my songbook are showing up in all blue. Anyone else notice it or is it just my computer?

Sorry to hear that, been there a few times myself, leaves a hollow feeling in your gut. Keep the faith and all will turn out for the good Beamer.

Thanks Pete, you just gave me a way to save face when the wife and I argue. "I'm not wrong, just different" and I'll tell her, Pete said so!

Welcome Rivercruzin, all good advice above. The only thing I could add would be, play your music how it sounds and feels best to you. The way I look at it is, do I want to sound like some the other guy or do I want to make music in my own style. Oh-and by the way, I've been on this earth longer than I thought I'd be.

I can't admit to understanding anything - but like Tenement Funster I am learning something. Russell, I watched your link to Corey Hunter, my eyes crossed and my fingers cramped just watchin the dude. Maybe someday I'll understand a thimble full of it. As TF said, "but it's progress".

Russell, your right, I don't want a bunch of crap in the forums. It's just my weird sense of humor, I figured that way all the spam could be in one spot and not have to see it, or if they had to pay for it they would just crawl away.  All of you do great job of banning and deleting and I thank you all.

It would be great if admin would be able to charge them a fee for the advertising space,  then maybe they would crawl back under their rock.
