In 24 Hours I will be picking up the first guests and the party will start!

I better get a good night's rest tonight, because if this is like years past, sleep will be in short supply the next few nights!

Never seen it, but it sounds like an ad to me.

Hmm, a brand new member looking for some advice on a chat application that has nothing to do with chordie or music. I'm smelling fresh spam, right out of the can, just thrown on the frying pan. If it continues cooking and the smell gets any stronger, you will be banned johnlum. I must be in a good mood, because normally, you would already be gone.

I feel like a kid the week before Christmas - Only 3 more "nite-nights" and the party will be starting! smile

Happy UNGD Grah - Ain't it great when a guitar finds you!

Forecast is looking pretty good for next weekend!

Roger - And as a bonus, you can use it to float home on!

The chordiestock bar is beginning to shape up nicely!

Do you still like those John pearse .11s for strings?

Zurf - While I still like to experiment with different strings (just put a set on DR Neon's on the CA last night), the JP 12's Bronze are still my regular go-to strings.

Taylor 812 is an awesome guitar. Congrats Jim!

Will do BGD - I still have your number. If i can't get it set up, hopefully someone else can.

I've got much to do - and I'm traveling next week for work so this weekend is it. Have to hang a door, clean the grill, scrub the floors, buy a bunch of booze and beer, change the strings on about 5 guitars including a 12 string (I don't think that's been restrung since chordiestock I). Gonna be a busy weekend!

Gumbo is on the menu for Saturday along with some nice nibble food - Got burgs and dogs for either Friday night or Sunday afternoon. Roger - is there anything special you would like to have for a good ole American dinner?

My mint plants are jamming so Mojito's will be flowing!

BGD - I will certainly hook up skype or something. Amy mentioned a Google + thing I need to check out - I was looking for something I could hook up, set in the corner and just stream all day / night

ONE WEEK! - Next Thursday at this time the first guests will be arriving and the party will be starting!! Can't wait!!

Here she is - beautiful - Happy NGD Joey

Well Happy St. Davids Day (My Great-Great Grandfather was from Wales) I really know little about that country, I'll have to remedy that. And Happy Dirt Ed Day as well - see ya in a couple of weeks!

Hi djacks - I'd email Per at admin@chordie.com - he can probably sort it out for you

Thanks Amy - I'll check that out. Was just thinking about setting my iPad up in a corner and let it run all weekend. Wish you could make it this year.

OK Roger - H2O and Coke it is - someone needs to stay sober and responsible smile

2 weeks away! Roger and Beamer - What is your adult beverage of choice? I will try to pick up at least a starter supply for you to enjoy when you arrive. I think I know what Zurf prefers - picked up a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch that was a bargain earlier.

Anybody know how to set up a web cam site for hosting vid of chordiestock (BGD)? I've got an I-pad, a laptop and a web cam I could possibly set up if I knew how to host (for free). I see firefox has a new video chat feature - maybe that would work?

I am beginning too feel guilty here in ca. I just mowed my front lawn and trimmed some bushes. We need rain and snow here we are having a drought. UJB that's some amazing film on the bridge, thanks for sharing it.

I hear ya dino - I picked fresh tomatoes and planted peppers and cucumbers last weekend smile I was raised in the Catskills - I'd be fine if I never saw snow again in my life

Sorry to hear that Joe - hopefully you can make it next year.

On a plus side for Roger and Zurf - looks like there will be beds available for you instead of a tent!

Jeff Taylor, can sing don't let him try and fool you. His cover of Monster Mash is second to none!!

Thanks Wayne - Monster Mash is more of a "speaking" rather than a singing song - and I do  believe I have found my niche there. I do many speaking songs - most at twice the speed of the originals. smile

I am also a firm believer if you can't do it well, make up for it in volume!

OK Folks - getting close now. 3 weeks from tonight chordiestock III should be in full swing. I've sent out contact info and a tentative agenda - If your plans are set, it would be nice to know who is coming and when. I'm taking Friday and Monday off so anytime from Thursday night on folks are welcome.

I've got Zurf, Wayne and Roger flying in Thursday evening. Beamer is coming in Friday a.m. How 'bout the rest of you - SteveO? Ken, UJB, Jets - are you plans set?
