I was 16 and thought I knew everything about everything, now as the years pass I realise I know nothing about anything.

It's my first visit here, I was expecting classical music. Great lyrics,  love the guitar, and can I buy the hat?

These words are crying out for a tune. I see this as being in the same style as Dylans, Oh Sister. Can't wait to have a go at it, but at the moment it's New years eve and we got a house full. Nice on TF.

Great idea to have this pinned to the homepage,  and while were about it, could we also have a like button as well?

Just had a listen to Moscow Mule, great rhythm to it and tells a story, great piece of work. I may be moving off thread a little here but I let things run. The next tune up was RESCUED.  Only one word to describe that. Stunning,  in my humble opinion an absolute classic. Mojo you are such a talented artist. Ps. Whats in a Moscow mule?

NYE for me traditionally is out early with the missus,  then see the new year in watching Jools Holland's Hootenany. Some very talented acts. I can't sing, I'm not great with the guitar and I dont have a clue how to post on YouTube or Soundcloud, but I will watch this space with interest.

Here in the middle of the UK it's unseasonably warm, but the rain never stops. North of here their's so much flooding,  it must be heartbreaking to see your home or business be destroyed.

We al have our own different opinions,  but I find it somehow wrong that we in the UK have spent £16m on putting a man on the space station,  when a local health authority can't fully staff the ambulance service due to a £4m shortfall in their budget.

Wow NELA I almost feel your pain. This thing you call sun, it's a very distant memory and I still have photos of it from my holidays in Greece. Here in the middle of the UK it's so long since we've seen it we'll all soon be suffering rickets

May I wish you all a very merry Christmas,  and all the best for 2016.
And to the ones who like me don't celebrate Christmas,  enjoy the holiday.

Bill, Dondrra. It's great to be able to put a face to the people I spoke to on the phone. Have a great Christmas and  a wonderful new year

While out Christmas shopping with the missus earlier today, we passed The Works near Bakewell in Derbyshire. I saw this blues box guitar (I hadn't seen the photo in this thread). It had a £20 price tag so I thought this can't be the same one that Graham brought. I decided I'd buy it anyway and took it to the checkout,  the young lady scanned the bar code and a price of £30 flashed up. They honoured the price on the box, so I'm well pleased. I just need to learn how to play it now.

We have the works down here in Nottingham,  must check this out. I take it the floodwaters have receded up there.

I confess to not being the biggest fan of Van the man, but you guys do a pretty good job. I particularly like the intro.

I've listened to many of your covers and think you're an excellent musician.

My first thought was its a comedy song. (Remember the mouse in old Amsterdam). Then it makes a real point.
I played it through with a steady 3/4 rhythm,  more like a waltz than a twerk. But hey, great stuff, I enjoyed it.
