As far as Nothing In Moderation goes, I got it from a picture of Ernie Kovacks tombstone.Plus, those that have met me in person can probably tell that I am not one to deny myself anything. Enjoy Every Sandwich was said by Warren Zevon on his last appearence on Letterman. They are both tattooed on my Arms. Along with JoeyJoeyJoey. Which I got from the beginning of the "Joey Bishop Show". Plus, people would always say that to me. Nice to be immortalized. Like the Bread machine. Another favorite quote. "Live fast, Love hard, Die Young And Leave A Beautiful Corpse". Starting to stray away from that one. Lol.
Just read that Leon Russell has died in his sleep at age 74. This year has been brutal for deaths of my favorites.
Not too many details. A huge loss. One of my biggest influences. Sad news to hear.

In need of a little help here. Trying to figure out the chord progression for Second Avenue by Tim Moore or Art Garfunkel. Easy chords please. Been working on it to no avail. I looked on different tab sites. Nothing.

They also used actual instruments. If someone had an awful voice, there was no auto tune to make it tolerable. There was no MTV either. Also, no USB connections in the car either. We used to have AM radios that were static ridden and played music all the time.At night we could listen to far away stations like WLS in Chicago while cruising or hanging out with friends. Technology has taken over.
Here in Mass. , we have "Package Stores". The name for liquor stores. Not just slang. The signs actually say package store on them.
If it wasn`t for the long drive and my brutal work schedule, I would be there in a heartbeat. It was great meeting you in N.Y.

I have flat wounds on both of my Gretsches. Whenever I restring an electric, I use flats. I love the feel of them. I hate the feel of running my fingers across round wounds. Any sound loss is compensated for by turning up the amp.They cost a bit more, but well worth it.
Enjoyed the whole time there. Jim and Amy are fantastic hosts. It was great meeting everyone in person. Just got home. 10:27pm. Took the long scenic way home. Racked up 930 miles on my automobile (car). Took a little ribbing about my accent. LOL. Now I will call it "The Toyota" or "Vehicle". LOL. Oh. Chris didn`t realize the importance of The Bread Machine. An icon known worldwide. Thanx again for a great weekend.

Time was though, by Saturday afternoon I'd be Googlin' the nearest Liquor Store on such meager supplies.
I wouldn`t say light-weight. Lol. I do have to drive though. In a different state on top of that. On weekends, my girlfriend and I split driving chores. That way, nobody has to worry about not being able to drive. Friday night, she dirves and I get to imbibe as much as I want. Saturday, I drive and drink diet coke. Plus--it is not like not drinking is going to be detrimental to my health.
Got all my supplies. (vices). Enough to share. Obviously, I won`t drink a whole case of beer and fifth of bourbon. Whoever wants some is welcome to it.

OK kazz, we may have given you a hard time but people have worked hard and spent a lot of money to pull Chordie into the 21st century and make it more user friendly, acceptable and attractive for old and new people coming along hoping to find an easy way to get to grips with new songs...yeh we all do it.
You must also know that none of us here, moderators included, knew of your problems but if we did we would be the first to offer help and advice, listen to your problems and give love. Notice that even though we could, we didn't ban you, you can still go through the forums, pick out songs and even participate in discussions without some 10 year old giving you grief.
As always if you have a problem we are here, ready and willing to help. But DON'T SLAG US OFF WE DON'T LIKE IT!
I had some major "Stuff" going on last year. The Chordie family was there and a lot more supportive than my real family. Which I must say Thank You So Much. If you see them as allies instead of advesaries, you may see things in a different light. If you come in starting trouble, you will most likely get it in return. Try getting to know everyone first.
I used to like me but lately things have changed my hair is gray I make unusual sounds I don't recognize so I think I will leave me for something better.
At least you still have hair that can go gray. You can always dye it. There is no dye for skin. LOL
You probably think Shemp is funnier than Curly too. May your E string break and you don`t have any spares.
