Could it be some sort of Madeira Beach Musician's Malady?
DE

I like that! "Madeira Beach Musician's Malady" must be why I am still stuck playing the same 3 chords for the past 4 years!

Actually, to get me playing again, I had another party at my place Easter Sunday - Bee Rad, Jeff Graves (he was the bald guy that was there Friday night) and Steve came over and enjoyed 7 lbs of lamb kabobs. Nothing real challenging or new music wise, but every time I get to play with a group I learn something. Jeff G is an amazing player.

Practice?

Seeing how I am in Texas tonight, I had a Shiner Bock and an Austin Beerworks IPA - plus a couple of cocktails with Tito's vodka smile

I'd recommend you send admin (admin@chordie.com) a screen shot of the page as well as your OS and browser - I'd bet he could sort it out

While I am better described as a "hack" than an artist, I'd like to believe that making music has influenced the younger generation to appreciate music and even influenced them to enjoy making music themselves (specifically my kids, nieces and nephews). Both of my sons as well 1 niece and nephew play at least 1 instrument. I know my boys thought it was very cool to see the old man playing "in public", and by making a fool of myself, made it that much easier for them to pursue music.

Happy NGD Uncle Joe!

I had a great time visiting Amy 2 years ago, she and Jim are excellent hosts, their kids are great, and her Dad is really fun too - I could listen to his railroad songs for hours. I'd love to be there, but my travel plans this summer are already pretty full - I'll see

Nice!!! Happy NGD

Going to work today was rough. I really needed 2 days off to recover from this weekend - getting old I guess. Went at it pretty hard 4 days straight, never in bed before 3 a.m., started drinking and jamming no later than noon the next day. So Thursday was 9pm to 3 am, Friday, Sat and Sun went noon to 3:00 am each (roughly). That's 51 hours of partying hard. Fingers are holding up fine, my liver and vocal chords not so much.

We'll damn sure be doing it again next year though!

Here's a better group shot L-R

Roscoe, Roger, Zurf, Patrick, Bee-Rad, Wyatt, Steve, Toney, Beamer, Dave, Wayne, Robert, Me, Keith

Not in picture (but also participated sometime over the weekend): Dirty Ed, Jeff G, Pepper, Roger B

Add in handful of wives, neighbors and friends so we had around 30 folks. Good food, great music

4:00am Sunday morning - I have had an absolute blast so far. This may be the best chordiestock yet! Here's a group shot of the pickers

I spent over an hour effing with the google feed and couldn't get it to play - only so much I can take - sorry folks.

Partying like a rock star day #3 has begun!

Bunch of pics on facebook

Day 2 about to begin - need to make a run for more bourbon!

Take a screen shot and send it to admin AT chorde.com - this is an issue that he needs to sort out

UJB - I am hoping Zurf has the time / patience to set up a Google + feed as Amy recommended - I doubt I will have either to get it set up. I have the hardware and the account, I don't have the patience.
