We do thank the mods for a great job!
You would think the spammers would give up after a while but then you are dealing with folks whose imaginary friends won't even play with them.

As reported before. I was looking for a Snark and they had none so I bought the ONE TOUCH. I am very satisfied with it but every time I needed it while practicing I had to get it out of my case since I have been jamming some. Soooooooo I went back to get another ONE TOUCH only to find that this time they did have a SNARK for a buck less. I got one and I find that both are good. They prove each other when both are used at the same time. The Snark seems to react a split second sooner but not enough to make a difference,

I have a habit! No not that kind! When I am in a Candy Store (Guitar Shop) the first thing I do is to see if I can make a clear "F" chord easily. Some of the older members remember my Epi that I had repaired and set up. It still is almost impossible to do it unless it is capoed up one fret or more. I think a new fret is in order but that can be disscussed on a different post.

My 1st finger catches both #1 and#2 strings at first fret.2nd finger gets 3rd string at second fret. And 3rd finger gets 4th string at 3rd fret.

I woman goes into a bar with a duck under her arm. A drunk yells out "Hey Where Did You Get That Pig?" The woman says "That is not a Pig It's a Duck!" And the drunk says "I WAS TALKING TO THE DUCK!"

Spammers are about the same as terrorists to me. They don't have the guts to face you one on one so they try to blind side you.
I understand what my father used say. "It Takes All Kinds!"

I agree. It's good but I just sit and close my eyes and get lost in The Currents of The Universe.

Sometimes God takes the best and leaves the rest.

May He bless you and his family and other friends.

Just tell your self the mandolin is drowning me out anyway so if i make a mistake no one will hear it! Seriously though I think you should give it whirl. If you let the nerves stop you now you may never shake them. Good wishes to ya.

Hi Carol,
I am not a uke player but maybe I can answer.
Once you have chosen a song on "chordie" look to the right of the page and you will see a place to choose the instrument you want chords for. Once you have chosen Uke in the tuning you use you will see a place where you can transpose the chords to a different key. It is valuable tool here on "chordie". If I understood your question this should help. If not you probably think I'm nuts. Good day to you.

Well our first Jam at our church was a great big success and I have  to give thanks for advice I received from CHORDIE and NELA especially.
Even though I was least experienced I took charge of the happenings. We had at least 4 groups represented. All went perfect for about an hour but then one player/singer wanted to do two songs in a row.I politely said lets hear what the next man had prepared and we would hear his next time around. He was cool with that and we played and sang from 6:00  to 8:30. It was agreed that beginning in August we will meet at 6:00pm on the third Saturday of each month. Ya'll all welcome anytime. AL

Check out Craigslist. I don't know where Medina county is but I went to Craigslist and chose Columbus Ohio and looked under "Musicians" and found some possibilities.

After reading other posts I realize I expressed an attitude not in line with my signature. The replies above and below mine are both more appropriate! Sorry. AL
