Sorry for the late reply. Ive been very busy lately.

Yes, I can reproduce the problem. I am however not 100% sure how to fix it.

The problem is really a browser bug, and the chords are written outside the print-area in the browser.

I will do some experimenting here with different css setting.

Here is something that MIGHT work in the meantime (have not had time to test):

* Another browser (Firefox)

* Try turning off top-bottom-header in the print dialog

* Set top-bottom-margins to 0

This is most likely very easy to fix.

Please send me the link that is producing the error, or just forward the mail to <a href="mailto:admin&#64;chordie.com." target="_blank">admin&#64;chordie.com.</a>

I think I understand what you are referring to. Not all email programs seems to be unable to interpret those links.

I think it is fixed now.

I am unable to reproduce this problem. Could you send me the actual link?

Or... just go to your songbook, and send it to <a href="mailto:admin&#64;chordie.com" target="_blank">admin&#64;chordie.com</a>

Have you tried browsing your way to "King's X" in IE? This should also work now. At least it works from my computer.

I am open to doing this. I have already made a version for WebTV, and it is actually very similar.

However I do not have an P910 myself. Do you know if there is any development-kit for the browser (so I can test it by running it from my PC).

Thanks for reporting this bug. It is now fixed.

Please verify.

OK. I have made a small change, and I think it is fixed now. Note that the urls above does not work, but it should work to click on King's X in Chordie.

Please verify.

I am unable to reproduce this (at leat under Firefox where I have tested it).

I go to the alphabetic list, Klick K, Select King's X, then get the expandable list. Click on a song (like 'A box') and go directly to King's X 'the box'.

Could you give me a screenshot of the list of 30 songs... I will probably understand what is wrong.

Please post the url to that song.

If you host songs in chopro-format (or any other text based format) they can be included into the Chordie index. If it is just a couple of songs, host them and use the "add song"-feature. If you are adding an archive, send me a mail about it.

It will then be added on the next update (usually every 1-2 months)

There is no way around this problem.

My only reason for not adding a "new song"-item, is that I am afraid this will be used (through the public songbook features) for distributing songs.

I might consider adding this feature, but then all songbooks with "new songs" will be locked for publishing. How does this sound?

I will most likely change the forum software in the near future. I am thinking of switching from fudforum to punbb. The currect software was overloaded with strange features. I modified it to become very minimalistic, but is not very pleased with the result. It is very ackward to maintain.

Instead of patching this forum, I have decided to change the forum software, and start from scratch. Signatures will be available when the new forum is in place.

Thanks for the feedback.

I might update the layout in the future, but it will most likely always have a minimalistic look.

A few reasons for this:

* Performance. This is a high traffic website, and speed is of high importance

* I like to view as much of the songs as possible on the screen. Lots of users are running low res screens (even web tv with 800x600px). That means few graphical elements like big logos..

* I like minimalistic, no-clutter interfaces...

As said in another post. There will be major changes to the forum in a few weeks.

Glad to hear that.

This is actually a fairly common problem. A lot of people have their default font-size in IE misconfigured. You can browse a lot of pages without noticing, since they set absolute font-sizes.

You have both these features already.

If you are logged in, you can add comments.

You can also add youTube videos, but you will have to be approved by me first. This was open to the public, but I got too many posts of commersial copyrighted music videos.  Everybody that bothers asking will be added to the privileged users list for posting videos.

This feature is disabled. There will (most likely) be major changes to the forum very soon.

This means, no changes will be done to the current forum the next 2-3 weeks.

What browser are you using?

The following browsers should work perfect:

Internet Explorer 5 and 6 for Mac and PC

All Mozilla/Firefox-versions

Uncertain

Opera

Known bugs:

Safari(Mac) has problems printing. I am working on fixing that.

I can verify this error and you do not have to post the screenshot. It is on the top of my todo-list. Thanks a lot for finding and describing this bug.

I have actually been in contact with the Apple Developer Team about this. It is a recognized bug in Safari relating to a special tag in css. They even rewrote some of my stylesheet code to create a workaround.

I thought it should work now (even if I had to make a small change in their code).

I have however not tested it myself. If any of you can contact me on <a href="mailto:admin&#64;chordie.com" target="_blank">admin&#64;chordie.com</a>, I can try to create a test for this - and fix it once and for all.

Could you try converting your screenshots to jpg? They will be a lot smaller.

Any site will do. Try for instance www.ultimate-guitar.com.

Sorry. I just didn't understand you were talking about the same songbook.

The problem with the "}{st:" should be solved.

I am unable to see examples of tabs that are formatted with a proportional font. Could you point me to a specific song in your songbook? In what browser are you experiencing this problem?

The ctrl+alt+PrtScr will not give any feedback. When you later try to paste with ctrl+v in a program that accept this (email, Word etc), you will see that a screenshot has actually been taken.

This works on Windows 98/2000/WP.
