I agree with all of these options. There's always more than one way to skin a cat as they say.  Try playing as many different barre chords as you can. Majors, Minors , 7th's etc. until you build muscle memory. Pick a song and play it all in barre chords. It may not sound right and your timing will probably be off , but you will get used to moving into those positions quicker. The end result like the rest of your playing is practice , practice ,practice. You've got this far so I know you can accomplish the Bm barre.
Good luck.

Maybe your subconscious is telling you it's time for a new guitar.  Maybe G.A.S. has crept into your dreams. Just a suggestion.  Never hurts to consider all angles.

Taylor Guitars has some good info on Ebony wood. Many of the Ebony trees are cut and left to rot because they don't have the black color many people desire. Taylor is working to help maintain and responsibly harvest and use Ebony. They don't discard anything because it's not black. You may now see Taylors with Ebony fret boards with lighter colored Ebony. They are going to use all of the trees they harvest no matter what the colors are. They have also developed a natural dye they can use to blacken the Ebony to a more desirable color. At this point they haven't used the dye  but they may be in the future.
I agree with the rest of you , Acoustic guitars need to be made of real wood.

From what I 've heard 55-60 is correct that's where I try to keep mine. Always a good idea to keep your instrument in that range when ever you can. Lots of good info on Youtube on humidity and your guitars.

I was working at a lodge in Wyoming and the yellow truck guys were suppose to deliver a package to me.  I knew when it was suppose to arrive and waited another day or two. When I found out the company said it was delivered I started to investigated where it was delivered. After a couple days of searching a friend at the lodge told me to check the quick-stop at the bottom of the mountain. So I took a 20 mile trip down the mountain to the quick-stop. Sure enough the yellow truck guys left my package at the quick-stop because they didn't go up the mountain. I never recommended them again to anyone and I guess they are no longer in business. 40 miles round trip for a package they guaranteed would be delivered to my door.
I've also had packages left on my front lawn by the other major delivery service (Not UPS ).  I'm sure many of you  have stories you could tell.
Question is, where is the service they tell us is so great.
I hope all works out in your case.

I've owned a Sigma a while back and liked it a lot. I have my eye on a new one. But in the U.S. new ones are hard to come by. No one seems to carry them here in the U.S.

For those of us affected . Did you remember to turn your clocks back 1 hour. I forgot last night so I didn't get the extra hours sleep I could have .

I didn't know a lot about him but have seen him on the TV and Youtube. I'm becoming a bigger fan all the time. His acoustic shows are really great. Totally love his band's sound.

I do three different gigs when I play out. So with so much material I need to have music and a stand. Although a great number of those  songs I can do without music. At one time had a little over 5 hours of material I could do off the top of my head. As I get older it does become more of a problem. I see more and more people using music at gigs. I totally understand and I think most people are cool with it. I think Zurf's analogy is right on.

The Pack continues to get better and better even with all the injuries. If the Offensive line was playing better they'd be a powerhouse.

Lane,  I wouldn't change a thing. This is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time. The best one's always come from the heart. Sorry you had to lose someone so close. Keep on writing.

Jeff, Great to hear how it should sound. I really like this song. Reminds me of the years I got to do that kind of work.
Thanks.

G.A.S. is a normal body function. Most guitar players get it, and for many it passes with the purchase of a new guitar. In severe cases it lasts for years and you never really are cured. It's not always that you need a new guitar as much as you want a new guitar. Removing a few from your collection is optional and there are no restrictions on the amount you may own. Duplicates are also allowed. Never , never, ever tell your wife what you paid for a guitar as she may sell it on you for the ridiculously low price you told her it cost.
P.S.- Enjoy the journey.
