Angelina’s Haunting                             marcalan 11-9-04

It was madness when she came
When she left, it was the same
And everyday, in between, was alive!

She raced through our minds.
Made fun of  our lives.
Our inner fears exposed, in our darkness she loomed.

She demanded breakfast in her room.
To avoid the common day gloom,
Her driver was to be out front by ten.

She would step aboard her coach,
In fine linen, parasol and broach.
To launch, yet another offense.

The souls lay strewn in her footsteps
Grasping to touch her gown, but inept
Some words came to our ears, Nevermore!

But when she walked through the square
All could not help but to stare
Her beauty and poise so profound.
I was sitting at tea
When she swept past me
In her presence, my heart hit the ground.
From that moment on
My mind was far gone
She had me in the palm of her smooth hand.
And with one side-looking smile
She knew, all the while
I’d never meet her idea of a man.

Then, She was torn from our view
Where she went, no one knew
We searched our hearts, but to no avail.

When we found ourselves alone
All our failings, well known
The loss, each one, knows too well.

As I enter my garden
With her scent, my heart hardened
I go to the spot where she stays

Stale flowers, forever replaced.
Gone with no trace.
Angelina, I’ll love you always.
Angelina, I’ll love you always.

NOTE: I'm thinking Bossa Nova Argentina Mystery...marcalan

Hi Ho Mickey,
I guess you know that chordie has a box on any particular song you choose that can be switched from guitar to number of other instruments, mando is one; banjo is there also. The chord diagrams change automatically.
Musicmoose is great I've learned alot from Anthony Hannigan...marcalan

It used to be that when I printed out a song I would get the chord diagrams as well. Alas, it is no more. This may be an old topic but frustrating to me..marcalan

Thanks for the input. I'm checking out acupuncture today.I realize the Veterans Admin. doesn't do this procedure and I've to many horror stories about surgery especially at the VA. But will see my doctor there as well. Thanks again...marcalan

Hey to everyone. I am a guitar, mandoline, banjo player and have suddenly developed carpel tunnel in my left hand being a righty this is most disturbing. It seems to be getting somewhat better but I'm interested in your feedback and ideas. I'm considering acupuncture being a veteran I don't really think the VA can do anything. When chording was so easy I have to fight to make my fingers work AHGGG! Anyone help??? marcalan
