Hi Elmo and welcome to the forums!  Is it THIS song?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmWIQqIV1rY

I've searched the internet and not found any chords for this anywhere.  The closest I came to anything was at a website called rejoicemusic.com ... but I believe what they are selling is the vocal arrangement (sheet music for the different voice parts that likely contains the piano accompaniment).

If this is in fact the song you're looking for, let us know... maybe one of our trained ears will be able to figure out some basic chords for you to go along with this!  smile

I don't know much about electrics... but as I understand it, the toggle switch switches between the active pickups.  A four selector switch doesn't make sense to me though... seems that it should be 3 or 5 depending on the number of pickups you have on the guitar.  Again - I don't have much experience or knowledge here, so I could be totally wrong.  The tone knobs just control the entire tone of what ever pick up(s) are active.

Position 1 - The switch in the most downward position activates the bridge pickup only
Position 2 - The next position activates a combination of the bridge and middle pickups
Position 3 - This middle position activates only the middle pickup by itself
Position 4 - This position activates a combination of the neck and middle pickups
Position 5 - This position activates the neck pickup only

OR

Position 1 - Activates only the neck pickup
Position 2 - Activates only the bridge pickup
Position 3 - This middle switch position activates a combination of the two pickups

Glad you're having fun Zurf!  LOL... you're a ham.  Good times, good times.

That's Great Jeff!  Roger's right, most people probably wouldn't go in and include their age and such... plus Chordie is used by TONS of people that never come to the forums as well.  I'm actually kind of surprised by the demographics.  I thought there'd be more Males and more folks in the 35-49 range.

Welcome to Chordie, lentzrus.  I have never heard of this group... what kind of music is it?  Have you had any luck elsewhere yet?

Actually, if someone could talk per into putting an age category in our profiles, then the computer could do it automatically.  Just a thought.

Roger????

Per probably already has some type of statistics somehow on this.  That's a good idea though Pete, heck... I'd be interested in seeing percentages of women/men and average ages!

Has anyone thought of showing the ages on a chart?  That would be interesting.

I actually thought about doing this, then I realized that this thread started in 2007... That's too much "work" for me!  LOL roll

Very well said Roger!  Welcome to the forums Hollie!  I admit, I'm not into Justin Bieber myself... however my 5 year old is in LOVE with him.  Maybe I should try this one out on her!

Apparently all he wanted was some peace and love for his b.day - The man looks AWESOME for 70!

Hi Russell, did you sleep better last night?  I think I would have been having nightmares about falling out of bed after that ordeal!

I didn't even know it was gone!  sad  I tend to strum and print stuff out and work from there, not so much from songsterr... but that does kinda stink... I liked the idea of it!

Thanks, But that wasn't me surfing there.... It's just one of the local breaks I frequent smile

Awwwe... I was mislead sad  Do you surf or just stare at the others all day?  I could just sit there and watch and stare.  There's nothing like waves to calm every nerve in one's body.  We don't get waves like that in our little lake here in NY... but the choppiest days are the ones where I love to just head out near the rocks and watch and listen to them smack up against the shore!

Jim... take a look at the zillions of threads in this section asking the same question.  My best suggestion to you is to ensure that your location and time zone are set properly and that you are logged in.  I am have never had a problem accessing Beatles songs, but others in Canada and the USA have intermittently had issues as well.  I think the code used to block the right people just isn't perfect.  This site is free, so perfection can't be expected!

If you do a search either here on chordie or even google for backing tracks you'll find that there's actually a lot of them out there available to download for free.  Wayne just helped out a LOT by introducing the idea to my boys, and sending it in an organized way so they could just jump right in.  smile  I've claimed Wayne as my mentor.  smile

Son, we can sit down again and try to work through the circle.  I think now that you understand more as far as scales and such go, you might be more likely to "get it" now.  You can also read through the music theory section here on Chordie.  There's a TON of info in there even for beginners!!!

Wow Russell!  That's some dream to toss you on the floor!  I think I'd be a bit scared to sleep off the ground myself.  I actually had a terrible dream that woke me last night ... people were chasing me and I was hiding out in a strange house.  It took me a good twenty minutes to wake up completely and stop trying to figure out what to do next.  I RARELY have dreams that wake me or that I even remember having come morning (generally I just wake up and say... ahh... I slept well).  Freaky, it's been in the high 90's here the last few days and I'm going to blame it on that (I never heard of Chocolate or Cheese causing bad dreams before... interesting).  My 5 year old sleepwalks.  Usually she wakes me abruptly by yelling and talking in her sleep while sitting up or standing up on her bed.  Luckily, she has not wandered anywhere in the house or gotten hurt ... yet.

Roger... I sure hope you didn't just jinx me and the rest of the mods with your comment!  LOL!  I don't need any injuries due to the curse of the Chordie Mods!  ha ha!  Just to be safe, I think I'll stay inside again today and work on mudding and taping the fresh sheetrock.

Thank you Old Doll!  We had a wonderful Holiday weekend.  The weather was beautiful and warm.  The kids and I went to my sisters for a pig roast and camped in her back yard Saturday.  I brought both my guitars with me and played a little at the campfire after the kiddos went to sleep.  There was a young man there that showed off some of his skills on my classical.  Natural abilities that boy had, just awesome, with no training and no music theory behind him at all.  He couldn't tell you what he was playing, no clue what the strings notes were even, but boy could he throw out some wild sounds!  Sunday we hung out in our backyard having hot dogs, hamburgers, and various cold salads I made.  Yesterday was 94 degrees and we did some yard work and then all chilled out in my bedroom watching movies in the AC for a bit... then we sat at the lake and watched the fireworks last night.  It's going to be another day in the 90's today and we have an air quality alert due to high ozone levels.  Now that the weekend's over, I think a little rain is in order here!  LOL!

Pratte, that sounds like an issue with your printer if only the portions that are in color are not printing.  Try setting your printer to print everything in greyscale using only the black ink cartridge.  And, welcome to Chordie!

I just put acoustic Ernie Ball Ultra Lights - 10's - on my steel string acoustic ... I really like the sound a lot.  I didn't lose anything in the bass and the trebles aren't too tinny sounding either.  BONUS - the set of strings cost less than $5 - they were suggested at the local music shop.  I will probably try the Elixer's next time just for the heck of it.  On my Classical... I've had different strings on it every time I've changed em and haven't found anything yet that I really want to stick to.  For me, strings are like coffee... I like to try all different kinds!  smile

Whoops... sorry Wayne for not coming in sooner here!  I agree with fatstrings, the best thing to do is to create a new songbook.  Aside from that, Roger Guppy may be able to help you out, or at least make sure that our Admin, Per, is aware of the glitch so he can fix it.  Most of the mods only have access to editing things in the forum.  My other suggestion would be to email the Admin directly at admin@chordie.com to notify him of the glitch so that he can fix it when he gets some time, but fatstrings' suggestion for a workaround in the meantime is excellent!  smile

Welcome to the forum Gemini Dolly.  I looked, and all mine are showing.  Are ALL of yours unavailable or just a few?

As you know, the songs found in Chordie's index are found and hosted elsewhere on the internet, Chordie's sophisticated software pulls the chopro format from those songs and puts them in a neat and tidy order and allows you to save your favorites.  However, if those songs are no longer hosted on the websites where Chordie found them, then they won't be available any longer.  Also, a lot of the Beatles songs are blocked.

This may or may not answer your question, I'm not sure.  Can you provide a little more detail?
