Oh man! and I thought I couldn't carry a tune if it had handles. somebody ought to tell that child the truth before she hurts herself. My brother once told me I should sing solo - so low no one could hear me.

Heck Bill, I had to retire because of a back injury and with all the pain meds I don't know what day it is most of the time either. I came to realize it doesn't really matter, when I log into Chordie and check the latest forums it usually says "Today" so I kinda know what day it is and thats close enough for me. Your sense of humor always gives me a chuckle. I used to work as a maintenence tech for a nursing home and my favorite wing to work in was the alzheimer's section. My mother was a patient there and even though she no longer remembered me, we always found ways to laugh. I would play music and sing for them on my days off, the sing-alongs were great, we weren't always singing the same song at the same time but we always had a blast. Glad your with us Bill.

Ahhh wives, I've had several, #3 is the best. She says she keeps me around cause I'm fun to watch when I've had a few tokes.

Welcome to Chordie Dave.  All good advice above.

Thinking of both of you and wishing you all the best.

Dino, I know your saving for your Martin, but don't pass up a chance to visit the UK.  It's a beautiful country. My wife and I spent two wonderful weeks touring around the countryside. Everyone was so kind to us. Turned out to be the best vacation I ever had, we returned home feeling blessed.

These are great principles to base a nation on ... any nation. Many happy returns to y'all!

I would have to agree with Zurf. "Steve" is phishing with dull hooks.

I'll be saying a special prayer for you Nela. Wearing a girdle is ok but no lipstick, pasties or high heels.

ACK!  Yall are making my head spin! I envy those who can grasp this stuff. Alas it is way beyond my my abilitiy to understand. I'm so far behind I have to look up to see the bottom. I only recently figured out how to use a cell phone and now my grand kids say my phone is obsolete. I can log onto chordie and facebook and thats about all I can handle. But its all good info and my grandkids can learn from it, so keep it coming. I'm just an old man on a mountain tryin to keep from falling off.

Just family doing what family does. Take it one day at a time Bill.

Good luck on the surgery, you sure have had quite a few. Hope you heal quickly and get out in that new boat.

Good to hear from you Bill. I understand how those med changes can mess you up sometimes, but it sounds like you have a handle on it and thats good.
