Ernie Ball Coated Titanium lasts a long time and the coating resists sweat and grime. Then there are the Elixers which do the same thing but don't sound quite as good to me.

Estranged by Guns and Roses went a little over 10 minutes i thing. It was off their Use Your Illusions album but never was very popular i don't think. Even though i thought it was one of their best from that album.

The best way i can catch the B chord is to bar the second fret with my index finger and catch the third and forth strings on the fourth fret with my ring finger and pinky. During quick changes i just use the index and ring fingers. Just your basic barred B which is a lot easier once you build up your finger strength. Any other way just doesn't work as well. Another benifit of learning it that way is just a slide up or down on the neck you will have other chords that are hard done any other way.

I used to work at a youth detention center and they were allowed to play instruments in the church services and during freetime at the gym where the insuments were kept under lock. They all were checked before and after each use for missing or damaged parts. Some of those kids where very talented and i wanted to join in at times but it was against the rules. Music can be a large part of changing lives for those with idle hands. It gives them better things to do than get in trouble.

I've tried the T Bucket and found it an okay guitar. It's a laminate top guitar that looks better than it sounds. If you just want a Fender acoustic i'd go with the Kingman. It has a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides with Fishman electronics for just a few bucks more than the T bucket.

For warm tone go with spruce top and mahogany back and sides or you could even use a cedar top and save a little money.

Is it correct to say that a jumbo is more of a strummer guitar vs fingerpicking and flat picking on a smaller dread or concert body guitar?

Hey Shuvelhead I can't access the video from work but the lyrics are good. I agree with adding a few minor chords or 7ths to kind of pull away from the three chord standard. Great job though.

I usually call mine guitars but when i first got them i decided to name them. My first acoustic is a Jasmine by Takimine named Jasmine. My Second acoustic is a solid top Takamine i named Woody and the No brand electric is named Heavy because it is. I think they deserve to be named as a boat or ship is because they will take you on a voyage.

I'm not much on rap but anything else Christian is what i do. I have heard of a couple Christian rappers but i can't remember who they were.

Could anyone help me with the chords and lyrics on this one? I would love to learn it for my wife. It would also make a good anniversary song or wedding song.
Thanks.

Spruce top with ovankol back and sides.
Cedar top with mahogany back and sides
Maple top, back and sides
Spruce top rosewood back and sides
These are the most common wood combinations for acoustics each producing a different tone. What kind of tone are you looking for?

Suspicious Minds by Elvis. I was a kid and didn't even know what it was about but i loved the melody of the song and how Elvis sung it.

We all will be judged wrongly and will have thoughts of quiting what we love if we let our peers get to us. We just have to remember why we love it to begin with and go with that. Everyone else have given you more wisdom than i could on playing. Just one question. What song was it that you played? Reason i ask is even a three chord song can be hard and it could be that the church didn't like the style of music that it was. Follow your heart inside of God's will and you can't go wrong. Good luck with your restart.

I suggest you look into getting an acoustic pickup and preamp which can be afforded at the same price you're looking to spend. Then save up for a better guitar that you would much rather have. Good Luck with your decision either way.

I see that Def Leopard is going to be on the Country music Awards this year.Has anyone heard if they are trying to "Go Country" or not?
I like their music as it is but i don't know if they could pull off country.

Who's Oasis?? Didn't they have a big fight and break up before they did anything worth remembering.

I read in GW magazine an interview with Chickenfoot that Chad did say the Chilli Peppers are split up with no talks of reforming. I also found that this is the first complete band that Satch has been part of. These guys are all exceptional at what they do.
